They're Dungeon Crawlers mixed with cartography. Traditional Atlus difficulty. Usually light on story until you get to the last dungeon with bits of lore scattered about.

Wizardry with lolis + map making. One of the games where they deliver comfy and rape in the same package.

Very solid dungeon crawling, with an awesome soundtrack.

There are so many EO games now where do I start if I only have a 3ds?

start with EO4 if you're playing on the 3DS or play EO3 on the DS. EOU and EOU2 have so much quality of life change I have trouble going back to the DS ones.

I remember when you used to get options in these games. 4 was really disappointing since the male and female sprites were the same except with a different hairstyle. I heard 5 gives you color customization so I hope it means you get a choice between older and younger characters again.

I really like drawing maps. But it's nice they let you choose to automap if you don't want to and just worry about adding markers
