And the new guy who took over producing Metroid also said he understands why fans didn't like Other M and Federation Force. Them bringing back Prime and making a remake of a past game is pretty much the biggest example Nintendo could give to tell fans they're trying to fix the series.

I've never unlocked optional content with an amiibo in any of my Nintendo games and I still enjoyed them.
