Why anons? Why do modern game devs hate boss fights? They even got to Kojima, who was always one of the beacons of interesting and exciting boss design, but gave up on it in MGSV and made every boss short and easy, or ANOTHER fight with the Skulls.

Hell, he even went full western game design with how the villain is defeated, i.e. in a cut-scene.

Why has it become acceptable in this day and age for major games to just not give any shit or effort about their boss fights?
