What are some genuinely good mobile games? Even in this ocean of generic mobile cancer there got to be some hidden gems, right?
What are some genuinely good mobile games? Even in this ocean of generic mobile cancer there got to be some hidden gems...
nope
only emulators are worth shit
:^)
Well I already did most of this. There's got to be something where I can sink a few minutes in while in the bus.
really you played all psp, wii, ds, gc, gb and gba games?
Not everyone wants to constantly replay old games. Maybe he wants a new experience that was designed for a mobile experience.
Gasketball
Dandy Dungeon
Desert Golfing
but mobile experiences are shit
nothing but ftp and gacha garbage
I said mobile, not wii emulator on a phone. I doubt that would even work.
The only ones I've enjoyed are the original Robot Unicorn Attack, Hill Climb Racing, and Magikarp Jump.
Thumb drift and crazy taxi dreamcast port, it even has the original OST
FTL is surprisingly amazing on mobile.
Oh shit, you're right. I forgot you've played all mobile games. Sorry.
I always recommend Game Dev Story to friends, and so far, everyone got hooked. It's a measly $1.50, but you could easily find the .apk online.
And it's a full game. No pay2win, no daily login bonuses, no push notifications. It plays when you play it, no idling.
Should also mention it's a simulation, but it's damn cute and easy to get the hang of. Oh, and lots of vidya references.
Honestly, I'm surprised not to see this game show up in these threads.
Dokkan Battle but it's a bad time to join right now
Oh that's what you mean. Still Wii is not a mobile console
Is there a good mobile Pokemon ripoff? Complete with a big region, story, and trade/battling. I see there are quite a few, but there's got to be a favorite.
I got into Pokemon Zeta/Omicron on PC and I like these non-rom based hacks/originals. Zeta/Omicron itself uses an 'engine' (Pokemon Essentials)made for RPG maker that mostly emulates Pokemon gameplay, with more room for original mechanics.
Technically most of them are good, i.e. good at their purpose - waste 20 min while waiting for something.
Monetization is usually obnoxiously greedy, but by the time games put paywalls you'll already be bored with it.
King of dragon pass is good on IOS.
Romancing Saga 2.
Basically, the only good mobile games are the ones that are just ports of regular games.
you can play actual pokemon with emulators
Here's my games
Thanks but I've played too much actual Pokemon. Especially since i'm buying the best gen's rom on my 3ds come September
Nobody ever mentions Steve Jackson's Sorcery! in these threads. Too much reading?
111% puts out some decent time wasters
Oops. I quoted the wrong person. How embarrassing.
Will I enjoy it even if I hate black people and ethics in video game journalism?
