Games that are supposedly """not cancelled""" but are never going to release
ITT
Starcraft ghost
Hellraid
Star citizen
Half-Life 3
TEE HEE ;)
Can't not-cancel something that was never announced.
Deep Down.
man that looked so good
The Swedes are to blame for Dead Island 2's delay. The game is going to be released, its just that once they fired Yager they had to start from the beginning because they had taken everything good out of the game.
they confirmed they started working on it again, and its page is still on steam
I don't think it looked particularly good, to be honest, but there's such a shortage of first-person melee games that anything that vaguely resembles Hexen or Dark Messiah would get my attention.
No, the reason is that Dying Light came out and they realized they've made a huge mistake by declining Techland's ideas and there's no way they can compete with it
Star Ci.. fuck beat me
I liked Dead Island and its expansion, but the sequel looked bad. It seemed it would focus more on humor and wacky stuff instead of dark stuff.
Because all they did to mine public forums and places for ideas was look up the top videos where they saw those retarded videos where people minmaxed their stats to one shot zombies and thought "oh so people like this stuff, cool." Same reason that dead island MOBA came out and lasted all of a month befoer shutting down.
Chronicles of Elyria
God, it's a real shame, cause the Demo for DI2 looked decent overall. Shame they scrapped the Devs halfway through production for some reason.
Paper Mario (working title) for Nintendo 3ds
...
oh wait
Kirby (Working Title) for Nintendo Gamecube
That game is a total mess. They essentially launched a 1.0 (physical retail release on console, paid release on PC) and then said "it's a beta, and the game is going f2p in 6 months". It's barely complete up to the third area (Which takes maybe a week of playing to reach, less if you get lucky with the p2w loot crates and get some good schematics/heroes.), it's just a disaster. I like the base of the gameplay, the exploration is fun, but loot not being shared in-game between teams means everyone fights and rushes as an outlander to find chests with good mats so you can make weapons. Then building is a TOTAL clusterfuck. No one has ANY clue how pathing works, even less that different materials have different health values, so retards build wood, then if you break their shit down to replace it with metal, they take at as a personal affront and start spamming buildings and overbuild for bonus reqs or constantly cancel ATLAS activations. I've had 8 matches that were literally unwinnable because of direct sabotage from some BR monkey who got the game from a twitch giveaway being unable to speak english and just AHUEAHEUAHAEUEHAUHUing into their mic as everyone else is unable to fight off husks because of the monkey swinging around on vines breaking traps.
FUCK.
the game is such a god damned disaster, and it was so good a year ago in the open tests. What the fuck happened, man.
wow! that looks awful
Multiple valve employees have come out in the last year and basically said they have no reason to make the game any more
My people make me proud.
Ruining it for everyone else is our motto.
