IMO, handhelds should focus on simpler architecture to achieve better power efficiency, not promoting the latest graphics features. Are 16-bit graphics ever going to get boring? People still play these kinds of games on their phones.

No, the Advance series has no ties with the original games. Yes, Sonic Advance was created solely for fans who loved the classic games but in the end they're clearly different.

Bethesda and Todd Howard aren't the worst things in existance. That honor goes to Gearbox.

Never got to play it as a kid. Was trying to hunt it down but by then it was a bit too old. Had the FFL trilogy though which got me into RPG's.

i found both those FF GB games at an EB Games back in 2006 for 6.99 a pop. both were pretty mint and came with everything

right next to them those was a new, sealed Shantae, a game i was told was pretty good for 14.99. didn't have the money for it at the time and when i came back a week later, it was gone.

By then I think I gave my cousin my Gameboy with Kirby and Pokemon Red so he had something to play since he only really got to play video games when he visited me. I mean I could always emulate it, but it doesn't feel right to me since it is that one game that I was interested in at that time of my life.

Link's Awakening, at least. In the original Japanese game, you collected a mermaid's bra during the trade quest. The translation has you collect a scale instead. There was also a topless female hippo in the animal village who covers herself up when you enter the house. She's already covered up when you enter, which takes all context out of the scene.
