Pretty much every new IP they've had this generation (Quantum Break, Recore, Sunset Overdrive etc) have flopped so they just said fuck it and decided to double down on Halo, Gears and Forza

Honestly it is weird how a console RTS is one of the best looking RTS games from the last 3 years. Halo wars 1 was fun and I like how many leaders halo wars 2 has so far. It is pretty good.

I feel so embarrassed as an Xbone owner when I see Phil Spencer or any other of their employees brag about games like Luckys Tale or Sea of Thieves as their big exclusives

The start was horrible but Xbox has changed a lot for the better since 2013. While ps4 is pretty much the same since launch Xbox actually moved on from the horrible presentation and is really consumer friendly like no region lock, refund system coming, great updates for Xbox interface, mixer costreaming, clubs and much more. Because ps4 has won this generation (so far at least) Microsoft is forced to actually try.

Backwards compatibility, gamepass, cheaper online (bullshit but still), crossplay, better controller, better online service as a whole, bluray player, 4k, hdr, better multiplayer exclusives, custom gamer pics, digital game refunds and many more.

Of course the pc offers all this and more and it is the better choice, but as consolefags go xbox one is overall the better choice.
