Mostly because I'm getting it brand new for less than half it's price, and because my main concerns are programming and graphic design.
My questions are:
Will I be able to play games with it? Not looking for top performance, excessively demanding vidya. I'm pretty much tired of being locked to playing shit that run on less than 128MB of VRAM.
Can the GPU be possibly upgraded/tweaked?

Roughly equal to a 710m. You'll be fine for anything up to and including Shadow of Mordor, probably. Newer shit (e.g. NuDoom), if it runs, will require compromises re: graphics settings

I'm not really nitpicky about graphics quality, as long as it doesn't look like absolute shit e.g. Dota2 when you drag the rendering bar to 0, I'm okay with it.
Also I'm not really looking forward to playing last-gen titles much, maybe just Persona 5 and NieR:Automata
ah, well that sucks but it was more a thought than anything, I'm still not in a position to buy an external GPU anyways

I don't doubt that it's technically possible to play through P5, but take all posting about it on here with a grain of salt. People pretend that BotW emulation is flawless too, just to rile people up. Honestly, you may want to consider a PS4 at some point if those are games you're after.

As a general rule, modern integrated Intel GPUs can handle games designed to run on seventh gen platforms (PS360) but you'll have a bad time with anything built for PS4/XBone. Games that are PC exclusive or were clearly built with PC as their lead platform it to scale a little better in both directions so you may be able to handle games newer than 2013-2014 (ie Overwatch might run okay.)
