You fell for the PC meme

>You fell for the PC meme

kek I just ordered a case because I was about to build my first PC. Don't fuck me up, OP

>30.000 games
>120+ fps
>real 4k
>real VR
>better monitors
>alot more control options
god damn right i did

>he fell for it

>you fell for the meme meme

...

>30000 games
>20 good games

>30,000 games

most of which you don't need a high end machine to play.

>120 fps

human eye can't see past yadda yadda

>real 4k

games won't support it for decades

>VR

go outside

>better monitors

um, no.

>more control options

you don't need most of them.

pc gaming is a meme, deal with it. you just blew 3000 dollars.

>only 20 good PC games

Maybe if you have shit taste and no imagination.

stay salt console c-u-c-k

you don't need a gaming rig to play zork

>mfw

nah, already have a list of 20+ games I've been keeping an eye on. already bought a couple on sale. just need to build the thing so I can play em. besides, I need a good pc for editing and other things. only spending about $800 anyway because I got a monitor as a gift and already have a mouse and keyboard

No, but you need a decent rig to play all the latest games at the highest quality that can be achieved

>I don't care about that! I only care about console exclusives!

then play consoles. I play both because I'm not a memeing fuck and actually enjoy video games.

>got a better pc so I could play Crusader Kings 2
>my computer is getting more and more outdated as the years go by
>only got it three~ years ago
JUST

you're just fucking retarded, user
it's terminal

stay mad pcbro

>bought a mid tier prebuilt
>expects it to play games for 10 years

user, that isn't how it works.

Is this you?

>putting words in my mouth

pc gaming is a legit scam though. especially concerning gpus.

I didn't know any better at the time and now Graphic Cards are expensive like hell

They are if you get top tier GPUs, but you don't have to play every game at 4K/60 FPS!!!

You can just find a comfortable level of quality and aim to get it.

>legit scam

How is it a scam?

I drink water from plastic bottles exclusively and am none of these things

Not a scam, it's supply and demand.

The smart ones invested in a gpu while ETH was on the rise, then sold off when it peaked.

Now the market has been sufficiently raped and everyone is paying for it.

>most of which you don't need a high end machine to play.
So? Most of those games actually benefit from having a high end machine, you can have an experience a consolecuck would have to re-buy the "definitive re-release" game for.
>human eye can't see past yadda yadda
Human eyes don't see in frames, the higher the frame rate the smoother the game appears.
>>real 4k
>games won't support it for decades
Just change the resolution to 3840x2160? Most games that support 1080p can scale to 4k just fine.
>go outside
Nice, just like me gram-gram would tell me about vidya.
>um, no.
Yea? I'm sitting here with my dual 144fps monitors actually laughing at you. console plebs will never ever get 144hz.
>you don't need most of them.
Better than being stuck to 1-2 max.
>pc gaming is a meme, deal with it. you just blew 3000 dollars.
I maybe spent 700 once on my PC, and every few years another 200-300, and that's to stay near the cutting edge.
If you were trying to do the same on a console you would pay the same.

vespertine is a fucking class album and was a breath of fresh air when it released.

it's on xbone too now

I fell for it some years ago. The only time this piece of shit gave me satisfaction was when I emulated the fucking Wii and PS2, and when it comes to native PC games, I only enjoyed low spec stuff that could have easily run on a toaster, such as Ori, Brothers, Shovel Knight, Hollow Knight, Super Meat Boy, Axiom Verge and so on.

A single one of these games is worth more than any fucking bloated AAA piece of shit game like Cryis or FFXV 140Gb Edition.

I love these threads.

>games wont support 4k for years

>
>>>better monitors
um, no.

>Jealous much

>All the last gen games that you liked had pc ports, or received pc ports recently

More like the pc redpill.
Fuck Sony.

>>real 4k
>games won't support it for decades
>decades

we probably have 16k in few decades

>games won't support it for decades
>people have been playing vidya in 4K for several years now

I mean I'm definitely building my next pc whenever that is hopefully at least two years from now but until then I'm stressing myself out until I figure how to better cool a prebuilt but it'd wind up costing a lot more improving this one as opposed to just building a new one in a few years unless graphics cards shoot even higher

I'm transitioning back to console gaming as soon as my jobless ass can

and hoping in some years time it's more convenient to build one's own PC for stressful fucks like me that are too nervous about screwing up to play legos

Nice reddit spacing.
>No, but you need a decent rig to play all the latest games at the highest quality that can be achieved
Implying consoles can play at the highest quality.
How is you not doing your research PC's fault?
Honestly, I'd be surprised but apparently Sup Forums really doesn't surprise me anymore.

What? I was saying PC offers the highest quality, not consoles.

>How is you not doing your research PC's fault?

Give me a single fucking PC exclusive game that is worth getting decent hardware for. Sure, some of the games I listed are not exclusive, such as Ori which is an Xbox port, but I forgot the Xbox existed for a moment there.

I'm just going to buy some refurbished prebuilt shit with semi-modern components like an i5 with ~6GB of ram and shove some $100 low profile card like a GT 1030 in it. If PC gaming ends up being a meme at least I wouldn't have spent more than $400, if I like what i see i'll save up for a proper build.

Best controller coming trough

Literally why would you pay to play the worst version of any multiplat when you could have the best?

Why do they have to be exclusive? Some people want PC as their multiplat machine because it plays almost all of them better than consoles ever will. Also, emulating old vidya in high res is a nice bonus.

You have to hate vidya to not enjoy playing on PC.

>falseflagging

remember: bloodborne never ever EVER

what's not to like about PC gaming? sales all the time and a bigger library of games to choose from. it's fun

Just dropped off my wife's son, Darius, at high school. He asked me to pick up a copy of Bloodborne for him on the way home. Me being a PC MASTERRACE MEMBER, I hesitated and laughed in his face for wanting to play shitty anti-exclusive bullshit at 30fps. He got mad and told me his dad Tyrone was a better father than I was. My wife fell for Tyrone while I was away at a LAN party playing CSGO on my souped up machine with an i7 7700k OC'd at 4.20ghz and dual GTX 1070's. Gotta have those glorious frames to play on a 13-year-old game engine! Me being a PC MASTERRACE member and all I showed him great PC exclusives to play on my 3000 dollar gaming PC, games such as UNDERTALE, DAD DATING SIMULATOR, and GENITAL JOUSTING. He called me a "gay-ass nigga" and ran off with my wallet. When he came home I found him in my living room playing Bloodborne with a smile on his face. Oh, how I wish my wife was around to see this! She's been going to this basketball park a lot lately with her black friends. Maybe she won't come home too late this time around... Anyway, my eyes melted as I saw those SHITTY TEXTURES AND HORRID FRAME RATES, my eyes have been violated!! I into my gaming room with my glorious rig, and booted up Dark Souls to compensate, it didn't work so I had to spend 2 hours finding a fix for it. But it was GLORIOUS, THOSE FRAMES and GRAFIX WERE SO SUPERIOR TO THAT CONSOLE TRASH. By the time I was done, he was still playing that console filth, but the game looked really fun. But I cannot play on consoles, only plebs do. Maybe in 7 years of petitioning, it will bring it to PC eventually.

Ok then, give me a console port that is worth getting a /r/masterrace approved gaymer rig.

>tfw fell for the manual transmission mem-
Oh shit this isn't /o/

I like to be part of a community that is considered to be a meaningful contributor to the industry. To do that I simply have to be a console gamer and not a leech on the industry like 99% of all PC gamers.

I already said that basically every multiplat is best played on PC, with a couple exceptions, mostly consisting of very old ports like DMC3 and MGS2.

Why does 30FPS feel so much worse on pc than it does on console?

piracy is ironically needed to keep videogames alive

wild guess old tvs didn't do 60 fps and most shows do w/e that optimal movie fps was, which is like 25 or some shit
just ignorant guesses, mind

Most console games have a consistent FPS, because the hardware is well known and developed on they can tune the settings to have a more consistent experience.

Some games just cover up the low fps though, I know that halo 3 and reach both have some seriously annoying motion blur.

TVs have a bunch of filtering shit in them that monitors don't.

Console games are designed specifically for locked framerates while PC games typically aren't.

Just practice with an old prebuilt. It's just a few parts and bam it works.

>tfw you fell for the 16GB RAM meme

8GB is enough for 95% of games, then you have those early access games that suddenly make your build look like a basic bitch for seemingly no reason other than bad optimization.

I use both my PC and my PS3-PS4-WiiU on the same monitor and I get what he's saying, also, there is no difference in technology and filters between regular PC monitors and TVs anymore other than maybe TVs having a tuner and built in speakers.

I think it's all placebo. When you play a console you don't give a fuck and just play, on PC your curiosity makes you want to monitor stuff, so you take a look at fraps or some other shit and then you realize the game is 30fps and you can't unsee it. Kind of like when you buy a monitor and you're happy, then you find out some dead pixel in a corner, and then it seems like that dead pixel keeps attracting your attention.

Some people even play with big ass overlays that display all sort of worthless data such as core temps and gpu/cpu usage on top of their games, so I guess I'm on the right track here. On consoles you don't give a fuck because you can't give a fuck, on PC you want to give a fuck because you can.

What about 12 gigs?

None of those require a "gaming" PC, those games run just fine on above average office PCs with dedicated graphics cards. My point was that falling for the PC gaming meme is retarded because there is no point in getting a gaming PC when all games that make use of such hardware are overrated overbloated AAA ports of console games, which often came way late compared to the original console version. By the way, I remember playing MGS2 and DMC3 on my previous PC which was definitely considered a gaming PC (not sure if I recall correctly but I think I had the Radeon HD4870, and before that I had the Geforce FX1600) and I had no issues whatsoever, I also played the entire Silent Hill series, Grandia 2 and much more. Back then it was worth it but nowdays there is no point, especially when the difference boils down to 30fps vs 60fps when you're lucky, too bad in most of those games 60fps don't matter and make the game play too fast, see Resident Evil Remaster or Valkyria Chronicles. Most games that require the 60fps are 60fps even on consoles, such as fighting games.

CEMU and its apparently unsolvable memory leak will make you glad you have 16Gb.

Oh and I forgot to mention, back then when DMC3 and MGS2 came out on PC, the difference from the PS2 was insane. Also on PC you could take screenshots and fuck with the game using trainers and hacks. Nowdays the difference between PC and consoles is minimal, especially if you take the PS4 which puts out some very good graphics technically, and costs far less than a PC and requires a lot less maintenance. I wish all games were on PC, then it could be worth investing in good hardware, but in the very rare occasion a game comes out and I can't play on my shitty 560Ti, I'm just going to buy it on my shitty second hand PS4 rather than upgrading my PC for it (so far I only did it for Hitman which could not run decently on my PC and it wasn't even worth it, on the other hand many PS4 exclusives were worth it, such as Bloodborne and Yakuza Zero).

Console games are motion blured out the ass.

Are you ok?

>posting on Sup Forums on friday evening
>being ok

Current consoles combined don't even have close to that number lmao.

So? How many PC games actually make full use of the 4k resolution in terms of graphics details and fidelity?

Face it, in the end you'll spend a lot more than the current consoles prices, and there are like no games that will make full use of your high-end rig (if you actually have one). You're either a liar or a insufferable mental kid.
