What does Sup Forums think about Kratos' new appearance? You'd have thought he'd have lost the war paint by now.

>You'd have thought he'd have lost the war paint by now.
But then how would normies recognize him on the boxart?
I dig it, he looks very wise. Like a Rasputin type figure.
Part of me would've loved to see Kratos as a monk who tears dudes apart with his bare hands.
But alas, vikings it is.
I can see less of his ugly face so it's better. too bad his games are still shit
WHERE IS MY WIFE'S SON
>paint
They're tattoos tho
The white parts are the ashes of his first family magically fused to his skin, right? Don't know about the red part.
I just assumed they were magically burned into his skin like the ashes...which I guess would still make them tattoos at that point.
Ermmm, sorry hunny that's not the case.
Uh, no sweetie. You're not the case
Why didn't they just use a different character?
Like who?
nope, he painted those tattoos after his brother was taken for him, he had it before he became the chosen of Ares
GODS
The grey parts are the ashes of his family, the red parts is spartan warpaint
>take popular franchise
>shit on it
why is this so common?
too mentally stable
WHERE IS
Nah, tattoos.
i'm not implying the ashes are the tattoos
i'm implying the red paint is a tattoo mimicking his brother's markings
MY
ROUND NOSE
Beowulf
You're wrong.
Post proof or shut the fuck up faggot.
what the fuck, he had a goatee back in the day?
i never realized that
Looks like a nu-male cµck
numales ruined beards
Can someone with skill make this look as feminine as possible?
For research.
Stop looking at a mirror and answer OP.
WIFE'S
GOOOOOODS
nu-beard
PENIS
Whos got the best beard in video games?
I liked it. Sup Forums just likes exaggerating, or talking shit about games they haven't played
Bearded Geralt best Geralt.
t.nu-male
Big Boss, because he doesn't wear it as a fashion statement, but he keeps it relatively short and he doesn't look like a hobo.
I generally like bearded characters but I dont think thats a good fit for Kratos.
The douchebag chin crap he had before worked.
Maybe they couldve added a mohawk instead or something.
Or maybe they shouldnt have made this garbage to begin with.
I don't like how his scowl has gotten lighter on the right while on the left his brows are practically furrowing into his bridge trying to pretend to be his nose and how his eyes are sparkling like hope replaced his insatiable rage. He looks like some cute old man instead of an angry old man.
This. It's such a transparent marketing decision that undermines their attempt at a deeper character.
I hope he starts the game without it at the very least.
Liked the previous one better, but if it fits the context it's allright.
Do you think this game will be good with all the changes or is it impossible to succeed without the old formula?
I dont mind the beard but he looks less mad.
Those are the ashes of his dead family fused to his skin by Athena.
>Believing Deimos to be dead, Kratos marked himself with a red tattoo, identical to his brother's birthmark, to honor his sibling.

Why are modern games unable to make scars look good? Sure, graphically they are better, but they don't look right.
Kratos' scars looked so much better before. As did Geralt and Lethos' scars in TW2 compared to TW3. Even PS2 games has better scars, just look at Kazuyas scars in Tekken 4 and compare them to Tekken 7.
Shit is fucked, man.
Scars fade some over time
...
I'm in no mood for smartass jokes!
>remove war paint
Would be Max Payne with cocaine on his face.
JUST SLAP A BEARD ON IT
what I find funny is that rude user that called you wrong has yet to respond.
But he's not wrong though is he you spick.
The scars will have healed over time so they would look less visually obvious, you dumb cunt.
Why do you find it funny?
I proved him wrong witht the link i posted and that's all there is too it really.
You're on Sup Forums and you expect people to not be rude?
Come on fello' user.
God she's so fucking ugly
>war paint
Isn't that shit burned to his skin?
;_;
Looks like a numale.
That's actually not a bad idea. Beowulf is manly as fuck. Too bad the majority of people have no idea who he is.
Mate, are you dense? Can't you see we had a simple, unserious exchange?
Instead of playing along you start namecalling like a teenager and projecting race into it? You must be fun to hang out with
She really isn't, though. There's a difference between being ugly and making an ugly face. There's a reason she looks like that.
...
Note Cory Barlog is the game's creative director, "godofwaronline" is some random blogger.
>implying they will reveal the plot twist this early
>there will never be a god of war games with different heros from different legends and sagas
>it will always be kratos
Why didn't they just use Beowulf or Sigurd if they wanted a norse styled game?
>Adventures Kratos and his wifes son
I fucking love it !
>he doesn't know he literally can't remove the white because its the ashes of his dead family infused onto him
I hate this board.
>doesn't look like a hobo
Except that's exactly what he looks like.
...
They gave him an incredible beard yet he looks like a faggot now.
How is this possible?
Because its styled like some nu-male cuck.
Why does every race have naturally curly facial hair?
literally kys. Stop crying because some user wound you up online and grow a fucking back bone you manchild.
He looks like the clown from the devil's rejects
Not gonna lie; I'm a sucker for putting beards on characters to show how broken and older they have become since the start of the story.
You want Kratos to fuck you so you project your homosexuality onto him.
Just don't ask where he got it from.
How long till beards are manly again?
Same reason why pubic hair looks the same for all races. It just is.
Those are exactly how scars look. You're just mad that it isn't as noticeable and easier to show off the rugged look.
>tattoo gets shorter to accommodate the numale beard
Top design there.
I don't think I'll ever see beards as manly again.
