I just 100% this game after hours of repititive side misions and I still can't fight the not-metal gear again.
What the fuck?

faceapp lmao
>I still can't fight the not-metal gear again
What?
In the final mission mantis took away the not-metal gear (can't remember it's name) + liquid and never appear again
>not-metal gear
You mean Metal Gear Sahelanthropus, the first and only upright Metal Gear?
>mantis took away Sahelanthropus + Liquid and never appear again
How do you put in the hundreds of hours necessary to 100% MGSV:TPP and NOT know that Mission 51: Kingdom of the Flies was a scrapped concept mission?
Because I don't really like looking up stuff on the internet about games I am currently playing desu.
>scrapped mission
Uhh I think you mean cut because their story was totally wrapped up.
Cause you're trash.
I'm just saying, man. I'd think around the point where you're experimenting to S rank an extreme/subsistence mission for the third time, you'd wonder if maybe -- just maybe -- there isn't a mission to unlock?
After replaying some of the previous MGS, thus game is so far off almost everything that made me like the series. There are three new characters and each is pretty flat. There are no bosses. The returning characters are mostly odd pseudo versions of themselves. A lot of the plot GZ set up never even got discussed.
>There are no bosses
Quiet, The Man on Fire, Eli, The Skulls, Sahelanthropus, and Reverse-Quiet would like a word with you.
>Eli
>Eli
Did not exist in the copy I played.
>the Skulls
Tougher common enemies.
>Man on Fire
More of a bullet sponge with a gimmick.
>Reverse-Quiet???
Is the Loud? Is there a boss named Loud that I missed? Pls respond.
Anyway, there was no team of interesting characters that get foreshadowed and end up fighting as bosses throughout the game. Even if you consider all these boss fights, it doesn't change the fact that none of them are the least bit interesting.
Why is Tom Cruise in MGSV?
>Eli
You fight him twice as part of the main-ops.
>Reverse-Quiet
Stop pretending to be retarded. It's the role-reversal of her fight where she's exposed and you have to guard her from a massive armor unit.
...
I just beat the game first time too and I think I understand Skull Face, correct me if I'm wrong.
Skull Face had a personal vendetta against the country that eliminated his people. He was forced to conform to his captor's language and customs. As he grew older, he became deeply involved with his enemy and in particular, Zero. Zero wanted a Pax Americana scenario where the entire world conformed to America's ideals not out of fear, but as a matter of transubstantiation. The rest of the world would digest our media as theirs was infiltrated and began to mirror our own. (Think swift liberal takeover of Hollywood designed to condition viewer demographics from Saturday morning cartoons until they're ready for news networks.) This was Zero's method of establishing peace by instilling loyalty and obedience. Controlling that flow of information throughout a man's entire life would lead him to accept his prescribed reality... Even if logic is contrary, he's conditioned against certain undesirable words and phrases that could lead the speaker's allegiance astray. If they speak your language, they're one of you.
Skull Face's strength was that he was raised to learn from his enemies, by his enemies. He implemented the Wolbachia. Instead of absorbing languages into the "lingua franca" to dissolve borders, he planned to operate a nationless conglomerate of genocide to give the power to wipe away any group of people to any buyer he pleased. This would obsolete not only America's restricted military advantages, but also wrest control of the world's dominant language into his hands, thus forcing hundreds of millions of people to choose between silence or infection. This would make the psychological impact of our propaganda and programming meaningless. He is Zero's foil.
As far as his motivations, he is a victim of Zero's policy. Everything was taken away from him and he was forced to become someone different, just like Venom.
YOU WANNA FIGHT NIGGER!!!
"Hey let me take that metal gear and rebuild my child army" end....
>wrapped up
Oh yeah, I completely forgot about the Eli CQC fights. They were good. I really hated that final Quiet mission though. I can think of several ways to send off a sniper other than a massive tank zerg.
Believe me you're not alone OP, I did the same thing. When I noticed there was no final mission when you 100% like in Peace Walker and I just wasted a lot of hours, I dropped some tears. I couldn't believe it.
Reminder that this is the canon option.
Other than Quiet, each one of those are as bad as the average western game boss, how did Kojima fuck a series high point up so much?
any proof to back that up?
Why shoot her in the chest and not the head?
Because you can survive a shot to the head, but a broken heart always kills
Shooting her in the head ruins the beauty of her. So instead shoot her in the heart.
>I can think of several ways to send off a sniper than a massive tank zerg
Exactly. Everything about that mission was absolutely fuckshit stupid.
hello hello were r da proofs?? :DD
I completely agree (and even then you have to play honorably to make Quiet fun), but my point was that there are bosses.
>Reminder that this is the canon option
Then what was Mission 45 about, and why was it needed to unlock Mission 46? Also, delet this
Any other cute comics like this?
...
I don't know
*BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP*
...
That reminds me, what happened to the battle gear or whatever the fuck Huey was working on?
He completed it when you visit him but I never figured out how to use it or how to use vehicles in teams
He finishes it and you can only use it for squad deployments and nothing else
>young ocelot
>totally flamboyant psycho
>old ocelot
>totally flamboyant psycho
>middle aged ocelot
>calm and collected voice of reason
What the fuck is this shit? And don't give me that "hurr durr hypnotized!" excuse. This was completely against what his character should've been. Why even fucking have it be ocelot if he doesn't act at all like ocelot? And in fact, the same thing is true for Kaz. In games set chronologically before and after MGSV, Kaz is the level-headed support guy, and in MGSV he's the hot-headed crazy loose cannon. If anything Kaz and Ocelot should've had their roles/behavior/dialogue completely swapped.
It would be the canon option if it was Naked and not Venom who was the main character
Are you by any chance implying that Kojibro is a hack? Fuck off.
Things I would have done
A better hand 2 hand system.
More enviroments,Each having different specifications (snow crackle, sandstorm that effect environent, floods, blizzards etc).
MOTHER BASE SERVING A FUCKING PURPOSE OTHER THAN SHOWERING!
Call in Diamond Dog buds to help you fight (Infantry, tanks, and helicopters cost certain gdp).
Being able to fuck Quiet. (And other hat Dd wom4NS).
Came here to post this
>shadman
Yup. You got it.
I hate V so much
I kojimbo better make it up to me with Death Stranding or I will never like him ever again
Pretty much. Though I don't think it was the U.S. that invaded his country, he recognized a similar process in Western imperialism and Zero's goals in particular.
And, however much he wanted to be Zero's foil, there's a reason Zero is so dismissive of Skull Face in that tape: Zero completely eclipses him, and rightfully realizes Skull Face is petty in comparison.
I think people overlook the fact that while Skull Face was introduced as a menacing threat he's ultimately swallowed up by Big Boss and Zero. Big Boss can't even be fucked to deal with him himself.
Ocelot was just sincerely helping Big Boss instead of playing a role. I think it also has a lot to do with the fact Ocelot had fuck-all to do in the story though, too.
>Kaz is the level-headed support guy
He's extremely attached to MSF. He just moves past his anger. I don't think this is all that strange.
She was nothing to Venom.
He forgot all about Quiet, she was used as a weapon and that's it.
If you keep her alive in 11, of course
>Its been 2 years since the disappointment set in
was he playing a role too in MGS3?
