If you put a blank CD on the dreamcast, it will spin faster and faster till almost break the unit
I have an original Xbox 360, and the thing is so loud it makes it hard to hear things at very low volumes, and so hot it heats my room like a mini space heater.
such a good system.
i dont have one bad memory with it, still have my original and the only thing that'd gone down is the internal battery.
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
Dun-dun-dun-dundun-dundundundun
>opens it before it can really get going
Pussy.
There's one of these still in the box at a thrift store I frequent. Should I grab it even though I have no dreamcast to play it on?
no
Sure, why not? Depending on the price it's a fun novelty item.

Fuck it's loud in here
well yeah
and then might as well get a dreamcast to go with it
There's Shenmue, SA1, Jet Grind Radio, etc. but no system yet, maybe if there's a system I'll ask if i could get the system, games, etc. together for a lower price.
>Jet GRIND Radio
Euros out
>There's Shenmue
I know it's set but the copy there was grind, wasn't that the name for the dreamcast release?
It's called Jet Grind Radio in America.
>Set up my Dreamcast on my big ass crt last night
God I love this thing.
There's so many good games on the Dreamcast, it makes me happy.
>turn on dreamcast after parents fall asleep
>windows shatter
Is that worth buying the dreamcast or something? I heard of SA1 having lighting effects that the rereleases don't have and good arcade ports out the ass but what's there otherwise?
>Keeps the jewelcases in the plastic it came in
Shenmue is a game that I'm fairly certain is hard to get a hold of. Might be worth hopping on that sooner than later if you want to own Dreamcast+Dreamcast things at some point
It's a tough one to get, but does the dreamcast's library hold up to this day?
Oh yeah, the dreamcast is a ton of fun to play, and you can pirate the entire library with ease
You can just burn isos to CD ROMs, so it's who cares.
If I use burnt-on discs can't that fuck up my laser? I know that the prices for dreamcast games get tough but I don't want to go buy a new laser every so often.
>PS4 sounds like a fucking vacuum when it has to use the shitty disc drive
>Occasionally gets louder and louder
the dreamcast has a good library, tons of interesting games
sega was at their best i thought
Don't listen to retards with out of date info.
Modern isos found online are perfectly safe, it was the original pirated copies that were dangerous.
Besides, if it breaks you can just buy another Dreamcast for less than some games. Get a stack of five of them if you want.
It's called -collecting- you dumb mspaint poster........
"""""collecting""""" by actively removing plastic and using disk while setting the jew-case on its back to collect scratches
mine only works without the upper part of the case. This thing will die soon, I'm certain of it
literally only happened to retards like you using burned games
i have jet grind radio and im amerikan
it wasnt jet set here either
you can resell it for fuicking a hundred dollars lol yes you can burn all the games
you can play pretty much every arcade game of those days
you can play pretty much every n64 multiplat worth a damn, including but not limited to star wars episode 1 pod racer
you can play tons of badass exclusives, there are too many for me to list here
this is why I am loving my Switch, no more scary disc sounds
Casually has a jet engine test in his backyard.
This is a Dreamcast disc, and is for use only on a Dreamcast unit. Playing this disc on a Hi-Fi or other audio equipment can cause serious damage to it's speakers. Please stop this disc now

Name ten (9).
Do arcade perfect ports count?
Because that's like.... at least 4.78341 good games right there.
No, they obviously have to be exclusives or they don't count. :^)
Awh dang.
Guess there's no good games on the Dreamcast, good thing too, garbage day is tomorrow.

had a good bomberban too that i played a bunch with friends, not as good as Saturn bomberman but still good
>ps4 randomly makes a sound that sounds like the disc stops spinning
That's not supposed to happen, some faggot botched a repair job.
I actually had more fun with this than playing the fuck awful Sonic Adventure game that came with the console. At least the tamagachi ripoff didn't have cringey autistic dialog like Sanic.
Geez, seeing this post just reminded me how crappy this system was. It was almost nothing but grind heavy JRPG garbage or arcade crap for people with ADD. I still loved Rainbow Six and Gundam on it, I would have loved to play a Syphon Filter on the Dreamcast, but what a horrible lineup they had.
terrible b8, dreamcast barely had any jrpgs
>nothing but grind heavy JRPG garbage
Dreamcast actually sorely lacked RPGs, J or otherwise. I don't think you know what you're saying.
Have any of you guys played Outtrigger? It's pretty fun, I hadn't heard about it before. I'm actually playing it with the Dream cast mouse.

don't forget best version of soul reaver
if you can get it for ten bucks or less. round these parts there's a resale shop with a shoebox of them for eight bucks each. $12 controllers, too. our goodwill had a black dreamcast for say 30 or so with cables, and then you're one spindle of CD-Rs away from the best games on the planet
Wrong.
...
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>tfw you put in a Dreamcast disc inside a Sega Saturn and you hear that
It's the future man.
It barely has more notable JPRGs than the N64, come the fuck on.
Dreamcast can't have more than 10 jrpg's total
>tfw trying to cover vmu speaker with finger to quiet it
