Combat wise Warframe is definitely better. Destiny is your average FPS. Characterwise, Destiny 2 is less diverse than Destiny 1, which is way, way less diverse than Warframe.

Listen, I like Warframe, I really do. I played it and found it pretty fun and addicting, but I don't see myself ever getting back into it. All it took was for me to see what Frames and weapons were good, how long it can take to farm them, and the fact that I could just spend real money to ignore all of that. The fact that Excalibur was actually considered really good too also put a damper on my sense of progression. "Well if this is really good I don't really see myself committing to a grind" was my mentality when I stopped playing. Also, I really don't get why the dude in is gushing over mods when they're rather boring and lackluster. At least Destiny's talent trees change what your skills do. I don't see Warframe as the "most fascinating game I've ever encountered," but it does have a rather interesting setting and premise and does a good job executing it.

yep, I played the beta and the whole time I was thinking why would I play this when I can just play Warframe. So much more mobile with much more variety. Visually, the frames looks so much cooler than the armors in Destiny 2. Enemy designa re also much cooler compared to Not-Bane/Not-Alarak that appeared in the beta.

the combat in both isn't anything alike. From what I remember of my time with Warframe, I spent most of the combat zipping across the room like a pinball whacking enemies with a staff and point blank headshotting them with my bow. I was sprinting or crouch jumping or sliding non-stop every mission

I've only played like 6 hours of Destiny 2 so far on my friend's PS4 but it already feels like it's the same thing in this respect.

nah destiny is a lot more tolerable. Better gameplay, less grind necessary to get to a state where you can compete, better pvp. Only thing warframe has over it is the amount of content it has. Cool I guess. I'll still try out that open world patch but i'm not holding my breath it'll fix primes shitting all over everything and grinding for slots.

As for high level shit, the Euphona Prime isn't exactly a revolver but it only has a magazine of 5 and it hits like a TRUCK.

double dragon had enemy variety though. Not him but there's a bunch of different races in warframe to shoot n loot but they all die the exact same. At least destiny has different weak points, and some have shields and shit you have to move around. you can literally just blast through every fucking enemy type in warframe.

The most satisfying "heavy pistol" is the Lex Prime, but that's styled as a semiautomatic pistol, like a Desert Eagle.

I didn't mean to imply Destiny 2 is any different. Both games have their strengths and weaknesses. Warframe's are a lot easier to forgive because it's a figurativelywho developer on a tiny budget compared to what Destiny is.

Warframe founder here with Excal Prime. Both games are really fun and I hope they both promote healthy competition between each other because I'll be playing both (when Destiny comes to PC)
