This game got boring over the year. I kept up with the game and I would play it at least once a week up until the Lunar year update and after that I just came back for events. Then Doomfist came out and it just sorta clicked to me how monotonous this game is. The summer update came out but I didn't even load the game up for it.

Overwatch is a perfect example of normies ruining a game that had good potential. One-tricks and shit players ruined another game

I'm kinda the opposite to OP.

I maybe played 100 hours in the first 3 months, then didn't play for a few months, now I'm another 500 hours in the last 8 months. I try to play at least a few matches everyday. Some nights if nothing else is going on, I'll play for 3-4 hours with some friends.

Junkrat double mine is THE SHIT. You can actually have a chance at taking out pharahs and genjis now.

Dont play competitive much yet. Maybe 5-15 hours per season. Highest SR so far was 2310 :/

Junkrat is a dumb character and you should feel ashamed that you haven't killed yourself yet for playing him. Roadhog and Junkrat and Hanzo are the reason I quit this shit game.

It's boring because every single mechanic can be mastered in 5 minutes. The only way to improve is to play in premades.

Overwatch in May 2016 and Overwatch now may as well be two different games for how much they fucked up the entire roster of characters with endless enabling of high mobility leading to the present "dive" play. Literally fucking everyone got sped up in some way and those that didn't are left in the dust.

That's why "2CP LUL" is a thing. That mode was literally obsoleted by character changes.

Blizzard don't know what the fuck they're doing, safe to say. Expect Mei ice skating Orisa jetpacks in no time.

Characters being able to move around is a good thing. The problem is that only half of Overwatch's roster can actually do this, on top of the maps being fucking awful. Hell the shitty maps are probably my biggest beef with the game.

That's because most of the maps weren't designed with characters fucking flying on regular in mind despite Pharah and Genji being very early additions. They expected people to play around chokepoints.

Paladins gets more concurrent players than Overwatch. Fucking Paladins.

If that doesn't show that Overwatch is dead as shit, I don't know what does

You'd be alarmed at how many people bought into Overwatch only to end up hating it and opting for other shit. I'm one of them and deeply regret falling for the hype, especially since it's pretty uncharacteristic of me to buy into something that heavily marketed.

Yeah I got tired of it around the Doomfist update. Been playing since release.

Now I'm just playing Gigantic until it dies or I get bored. My boredom with Overwatch got multiplied when that came out. Even deathmatch couldn't bring me back for more than a few games here and there. I did my placement s at least. 8 of them with my mate, I'm still stuck in mid gold with a win streak/dedication I'm not capable of to rank up.

Point is, just move on and find something else you like.
