wtf I am only at episode 2 thanks for the spoilers asshole.

Lazy asspull

He was a time cop meant to stop them from screwing up time; not the bad guy. Did you even pay attention?

Literally who

He looks like the kind of guy that I would naturally assume does some shady things in secret. In real life these assumptions make me seem like a paranoid autismolord, so i'm glad that my suspicions are validated in some way. Even if that way is through a shitty hipster-trash tumblr tier game.

>a shitty hipster-trash tumblr tier game
Elaborate.

Lazy asspull. He wasn't a very good villain.
if he ended up being a time cop though that would've been kick ass

Jesus fucking christ after all the fucking telltale bullshit I've endured this is the most laziest fucking stupdies not even sense making ass fucking cop out.

THIS GAME WAS PRAISED. PLEASE ANALYZE THE FUCKING PLOT JUST FUCKING ONCE.

IT'S RETARDED. COMPLETELY RETARDED AND IT WAS REWARDED WITH SHIT OH MY GOD WHY

can you honestly tell me that this game is not marketed towards hipsters and tumblr tards?

Nothing about this game was clever at all whatsoever.

Neither. It was passable. The last episode wasn't though.

>his
t. I haven't played it and only hop on the hate bandwagon due to the the look and gender of the two main characters and I feel more masculine thinking this game is bad.

i started having suspicions at the end of episode 2, when him and the principal are having a conversation while hes in his car, there was just this unconcerned, bored look that raised some flags, then I thought about how both Nathan and David were presented too obviously as suspects

It was incredibly obvious for all the wrong reasons. They kept lingering on him in odd scenes and giving you the option the blame or suspect him when there was really no reason to do so yet. I wasn't surprised at all by the reveal, yet I feel like I was supposed to be since it came completely out of nowhere. They might as well have introduced a brand new character to be the killer for how disconnected he felt from the plot.

You're worse than him- the type of retard that browbeats reasonable people that don't agree with their narrow worldview. play victim somewhere else.

he allow them to rape her so i hate him

So many of the plot points in this game are exactly the same as the movie the Butterfly Effect, yet noone ever seems to point it out. Maybe noone saw it.

hey that would actually be great, you're right

>This thread
How is it an asspull when there were minor hints spread out through the episodes? [Villain] had the power to influence the principal and cover up any involvement with [main victim]. As a result, the principal was left depressed. [Hero] knew something was up with [villain] and advised others to keep their distance from the situation. [Hero] looked like a raving lunatic because he was furious with everything that had happened, while [minor victim] was crying because she had no control over the events that affected her. [villain] had a car that no person within his income level could afford. [Hero] crossed the line with his paranoia, and was rightfully outed.

Its just a shitty game. Shitty writing, unlikable main characters, copout premise. Basically The Last of Us DLC did lesbian relationships way better.

Lol it's just some meme bait

No it isnt. He is the serial killer.

No one saw it coming. It was a clever twist.

How is disliking something because you've ascribed an agenda to it based on appearances even remotely "reasonable"?

I was like what the fuck, this story is deeper than I thought.

YOU SON OF A BITCH YOU FUCKING CUNT

>moaning about spoilers for a game that has been out two years and discussed frequently on Sup Forums

kys

I suspected it from the very beginning that something was up with him. Altough I thought he was an ordinary kiddy fiddler.

Theres a bunch of really subtle hints you notice on a second playthrough. Like he literally talks about framing any of his students vulnerable in a dark corner at the very beginning of the game

I'm glad you normies got what you deserve.

Deeper than nothing? not really that hard.

Asspull, clearly.
David was clearly innocent.
No one saw that comming because it was an asspull.

LiS had an incredible atmosphere, but the fact that it came 6 years after Steins;Gate killed the story for me.
S;G does everything better than LiS Except for the fact that you can go full lesbian.
The ending was lazy as fuck, with no way to maybe have hope that everything can actually go right.
Also
>choices matter
Litteraly whatever you do, the story goes on.
Then again it's not a bad game, and it has pros, like that fantastic OST.

It was a crazy twist that turned into a lazy asspull because of episode 5.

It was kind of disappointing how disjointed the time shit and the high school murder mystery was. Still enjoyed LIS more than the telltale games though.

This game is literally just "Erased" copypasta.

This game was hella fuckin' awful.

...

i fucked my selfies

Spoiler this shit, you fucking nigger.

Victoria is ugly though.

They did an excellent job at making Alyssa sound fat.

Makes sense for the guy who has the biggest in with the kids of the school to be the one to exploit their trust and get away with fucked up shit. Not an asspull in the slightest.

honestly i think the dad revival and following part was well executed and the best part of the game and it takes a nosedive from there on

*throws football at you*

*stops time and blocks it*
Tokyo tomare

Neither, it was highly telegraphed, literally as soon as I saw him I thought he was a creep

Victoria is charming.
And fuck you fat cunt
>try to help Alyssa
>she goes full autistic "Muh whenever you're here something wrong happens"
>she backs off and fucking dies
>feel guilty
>rewind to let her live because I'm no monster
>screen goes white
>"Ah I can't rewind anymore"
Fuck you ungrateful bitch

Here! Ill help you down! Grab my hand Alyssa!

>she backs off and fucking dies
How do you even let her die? All you have to do is stop things from hitting her each episode.

Rachel Amber looks alot less hot in real life in the new episode.

Neither, but the game still has shitty writing

I stopped giving a fuck about her at the party

In the intro of the first episode, he talks about a "hypithetical" scenario of framing his students in a dark corner and taking a photograph of their moment of desperation.

He wasn't very good at hiding he was a rapist.

Bruh she backs off when you try to help her out of a ruined building into a fucking hole.

Clever plot twist or lazy asspull?

>face-sitting
>a girl that barely weighs 80 pounds
I'll pass

But he wasn't. All he needed were photographs.

Not if you save her in each episode, you must of missed her in one of them.

i fucked my selfies

Shitty twist with MINOR foreshadowing

Nothing really happens making him the killer. Wasn't interesting or revealing when "oh he gave pills to sick kid" or something like that.

I still miss time agent theory.

That movie was gay

Another plot point they stole!

>wanting your face caved in

Twists only work if they're story relevent.

>first speech is him being literal
>suspiciously neutral-good in a sea of well-defined characters
It was still extremely vague.

>unlikable main characters

I liked Max. Chloe was fucking annoying, which was a problem given the direction the game took.

>hey we know time travel is bad
>okay let's do it but don't tell our customers that it could destroy everything in the future until it's too late
>our only precaution is a floating red carpet so we don't touch the ground

anything in any story ever is an asspull

I thought Max was sort of a cunt. I liked Chloe though. She was a cunt but owns up to it at points

Litterally speaking it's not an asspull because they knew episode 1.

But they basically introduce and remove concepts constantly making you think everything they're doing is on the fly. So it's understandable to think it's an asspull.

>Let's slip his method of killing them in one of the first scene
>In a position of power and authority to influence the school officials
>Had the friendliest interaction with the kids to manipulate them

It makes perfect sense desu. Sorry you weren't smart enough to figure it out.

She did?
I only remember at the end like the writers forgot she was a cunt and that choice was pointless

>In a position of power and authority to influence the school officials
He's just a teacher right not some shareholder or something?

He was a super famous artist and the school would bend over backwards, if you think about it, he is kind of similar to P5s Kamoshida

I'm still pissed the game didn't actually let you play matchmaker between Warren and the asian qt with the drone

Considering the hipster ingame is the villain, and the tumblr girl is a huge cunt, yeah, I'd say it isn't really marketed towards them nor made for them.

Stop parroting retards you encountered on Sup Forums.

Did anyone really gave a shit about this "twist"?
Serial killer plotline was so far in the background behind babysitting Chloe and inane highschool drama I sometimes forgot it even existed.

Wait whats this Jefferson time cop theory about?

I was one of the anons who thought this game was complete shit based on Sup Forums opinions before i even try it, but picked it up when it was free on ps olus, and i actually had fun.
It's unique, the last episode was a let down though.
Never listen to Sup Forums.

Jefferson wasn't a killer if I remember correctly
Chloe's gf was killed because brat boy overdosed her.
Jefferson was going to kill Max because she knew too much

Question,

Ultimately the only choice that mattered was the last one but I felt like the choices matter far more in LiS than in Telltale games even if functionally it is the same.

Why is that?

He also killed Chloe at the end and presumably Nathan

He literally states exactly what he does to girls in episode 1 word for word, and fake-threatens everyone in his classroom with it as part of his "lesson"

There were a ton of tiny things and choices that they deliberately kept calling attention to. It was well done in that regard.

>Clever

The only other person who could've been the killer was Chloe's stepdad, and it was completely obvious from the start that it wasn't him.

Max was just as bad, she's a doormat that enables Chloe's bullshit and the one time as player you get to tell Chloe to fuck off and grow up the game immediatelly punishes Max by showing her a reality where Chloe is a vegetable and everyone's lives are better

It was a fairly obvious 'twist' because of how clearly they were trying to make him seem like not the bad guy.

well yeah, them too. But the Chloe gf mystery was Nathan's doing. Granted Jefferson enabled the mentally unstable child but he still kid her

It's not really that much of a surprise considering these games have a limited budget and art resources. This is why every location gets reused multiple times.

And Nathan being a dumb idiot is what let him get caught in the first place. Jefferson wanted Nathans family cash and roped him into his darkroom scheme.

One thing I am completely missing though is that there were so many hints to Nathans family being unscrupulous businessmen, so I expected that to go further except than "they have cash lol"

>trying not to over water the plant
>next day it dies
fucking god damn it

I think it was cliché, but the way it was done was good. You know, it's the same "wow who would've thought the good guy could be the bad guy" that you see very frequently, but well made. It was clever because everything pointed at Nathan in some way or another, but that was part of the situation.

Nathan started to deal drugs or something like that and his dad was aware of it/encouraged it. They were a shady family

Warren reminded me of myself minus the beating, never got the chance when I college dorms
How could I date such a loser ?

Warren was a bro, honestly. If you were like that, then I see no problem desu.

too much of a bro to the girl he liked

>hey, want to go watch some shitty movie at a shitty drive in?
No, fuck off. I have time traveling to do

He dates the nerdy latina in the alternate timeline and it's heavily hinted that the asian with the drone wants his cock

Warren>Chloe
