Remember me?

Remember me?

How did the wii get from the most popular console to the most boring and uninteresting?

Literally everyone had one yet no one wanted to own it.

Ive been trying to emulate this since release date but I can't get rid of the slowdown

Last Story was pretty bad. The only good parts were the side missions and the online.

You're spouting nonsense but if you're actually asking why certain niche titles failed, it's marketing.

I liked it, it had some good ideas, but it clearly lacked budget.
I feel like it was the Dragon Age 2 of JRPGs, stuck in the same city through-the-years, dealing with politics, foreign invasion and whatnot.

I liked it a lot more than most, particularly the ending. Always nice to see a game take its time to tie pretty much everything up instead of ending 30 seconds after the climax, or slapping a 2-minute montage on at the end.

Emulate it on what? I have my Wii hacked and I've never even heard of this game. Is it an RPG? Is it good?

Honestly piracy, it's one of the only times that piracy completely fucked over sales of games

>preordered limited edition
>music and artbook were cool but...
>mfw 10fps boss battles with the worst battle system I'd ever experienced.
>mfw I have no face

Yeah, the game was great.
Underrated gem

It instantly got the waggle stigma.

Personally I had to be in a specific mood or have the right motivation to play the Wii because of motion, batteries and peripherals.

>literally putting final fantasy into a thesaurus site and taking the most boring result

I remember seeing The Last Story on some store around the time it got released, I bought Skyward Sword instead.

It was better than FF13

I liked it more than Xenoblade

I really liked it eventhough the fighting system is so complex I only started understanding it while fighting the final boss.

>fighting system is so complex

Let's refrase it. You can get to the final boss without using the special mechanics in the fighting system and skipping all the tutorials. At the moment you enter the final boss you have no idea what to do.

>final boss theme suddenly goes Stalaggh

>attack and wait for special to charge
>do special
>repeat

I can't remember why I had trouble on the final boss though. Something about limited resources.

How were those 2 other games released at the end of the Wii's life? It was this, Xenoblade, and Pandora's Tower I think?

great game, but the framerate on the wii was trash

I should probably replay it on dolphin someday

Got it for $8 thanks to Sup Forums pointing out an Amazon fuck up and enjoyed it

Only if you were american.

Xenoblade is very good apparently. Xenoblade X, the "sequel" on the wii u is one of the best rpg ever imo so i'll believe those who say the first one is good.

Pandora's Tower was a fun, comfy adventure game where you explore a bunch of towers to try to cure your waifu's curse. Not an exceptional game but still a good one.

best girl in "recent" times

I swear gamers like you are the reason that cuphead tutorial debacle happened

Good choice, Skyward Sword is a fun video game.

I agree, her british voice actor really did her justice also

Everyone in this game was really well voiced for that matter

I had no idea you could let your party enter the room to fight zangurak, so I just beat him with Zael and Calista

shit took forever

I enjoyed running into things in the city

Yep. The multi-player was surprisingly fun and unique.

>bump into someone on the streets
>they call you a faggot
>become a knight and bump into someone on the streets
>they literally worship you and suck your dick
Man I love how they played hierarchy in this game.

Still in my backlog, along with a couple of other Wii games I have moderate interest in.

balancing on the edge of a knife

>game promises you to marry Kanan
>keeps promise and lets you bang her too
Went better than expected

Also, faggot knight was a true bro and as hard as fuck fight.

I had a good time with this game. I'll never forget shooting banana peels everywhere during important cutscenes.

I hated how the dialogue choices were meaningless

I tried to stay loyal to the evil uncle guy but the game simply wouldn't let me. Why even give the options to choose then

I don't remember the game looking this shitty

Thanks to terra battle I did

Is that the same artist as the Drakengard series?

I wonder why people ride Sakaguchi's dick so hard, yet none of his post-FF games are any good

Reminder that the game could have had a cool film noir setting, but the writers had no idea how to approach anything that wasn't fake medieval shit

That not Remember Me, It's The Last Story

I played the first mission and then sold it. I probably would've liked it more if they included dual audio or no dub at all. I don't have a problem with Brit accents, I just hate that these dubbing companies that want to give the characters English accents always hire girls with raspy hoarse voices to play cute anime girls.

Yes

I guess you ignored mirania's voice then

Was just thinking about this the other day. It wasn't groundbreaking by any means, but considering everything that came out around that time, it was an RPG worth playing. Wii and XBox were dogshit when it came to RPGs aside from Last Story, Vesperia and Lost Odyssey (which is leagues above the other two)

That screenshot looks better than I remembered it.

>How did the wii get from the most popular console to the most boring and uninteresting?

The hype eventually died and nothing exciting remained. A lot of the time popularity is just hype that never got shot down.

I don't remember her at all so I guess so.

>Bought xenoblade and pandora's tower during the whole rainfall deal
>couldnt afford Last Story
>turns out i dodged the bu
llet
Feels gud

Jokes on you I tried to play this game on my Wii and couldnt because of the slowdowns.
