Solas made a mess, but at least he did it for a really good cause, not like that idiot Anders. The false elven gods were going to destroy the world regardless, so the Veil was the only solution to at least try to save Thedas. I hope he succeeds in DA4, but I doubt Bioware will have the guts to show a world without Veil and its consequences.

I loved the sidequests they were really fun, exploring ruins, fighting dragons, taking over castles, judging prisoners,building alliances lots of fun stuff to do top tier game.

You mean about the Lyrium being Titan blood and how the Blight is a defense mechanism of said Titans?

And being the generous user that I am, I'll go first.

Combat system focuses on rtwp again, tons of different spells for mages, more fast paced and less abilities for melee folks. Mage combat relies heavily on the spells, auto-attack/mashing staff is nearly useless and not your main damage source line in inquisition.
Blood magic is back.

Story. The story focuses on how you, a citizen of tevinter deals with the qunari invasion. Solas exists in the background, merely having influenced events (like de-quining some elven qunari , which causes the rest of the qun to go on campaign to reinforce the faith of the average qunari in the qun, by crushing infidels)
Depending on your race/class combo you have different levels of power you can end up holding during the game. (non magic humans can end up as generals, non magic nonhumans end up as military advisors, magic nonhumans can become the first non-human magister, magic humans can become black divine/archon)
It depends on how you play though, choices influence a lot.

Obviously dorian's influence has played some role and there are calls for change in tevinter, you'll influence and decide the outcome.
Meaning you can absolutely play a full-tevinter slave owning traditionalist, who sacrifices slaves for blood magic and doesn't give a shit about dorian's ideas.
And succeed.
And have quests for that path and that mentality.
And not be chastised by some karmic retribution, as if evil people aren't allowed to succeed in fantasy realms.

Dude, there is a ton of RPG games like that. What you described is the same shit as Xenoblade, for example. Maybe DAI just wasn't for you, but I found myself enjoying it. Much better than DA2, that's for sure, and Trespasser was in a pretty high tier.

I simply can't see my Inquisitor come back as a NPC and they are supposed to deal with Solas and the Qunari, not a nobody from Tevinter or another part of Thedas who never met him and could do nothing to convince him/stop him.

I hope we will visit the northern part of the map, not just Tevinter, but all the countries like we did with the south in DA:I. This time I want full cities, though.

The artstyle for Inquisition was pretty cool, the aesthetics for Ferelden, Orlais, and the elves were fantastic and I adored Solas' murals and the tarot cards. I hope they will follow the same trend or will come up with another cool one (frosted glass windows?) for the companions selection and the overall theme of the game.

I actually gave DA:I a chance just a couple of months ago, as a long time Bioware fan. I really hated it. As I was completing yet another side "quest" of "run across a body, go someplace else, quest completed!" I thought back to side quests like Kangaxx and wondered what the fuck Bioware had come to.

I just started playing DAI and it honestly feels like a movie. I'm not liking it but that might change since I'm only 20 min. in.

Do yourself a favor and get the flying mod before you start exploring those huge ass maps. It takes far too long to complete all those fetch quests otherwise.

The start is slow, it gets really nice after the In Your Heart Shall Burn mission.

It would have taken him years, maybe even centuries, to regain his full powers. He gets stronger only thanks to Mythal's essence after beating Corypheus, then he gains the Anchor from the Inquisitor too, but I think his original powers (those contained in his Orb) were different from the ones he has now.

Why do you think Gaider left? He was fed up with the obsessive fandom around his games trying to steer Biowares characters into directions he is more than not okay with. Bioware changed, even hired some of those people, and he didn't want to work with them.

He doesn't write all the characters though.
