Soul Calibur is on there. Mortal Kombat has always been trash as a fighting game.
Looks to me like mostly a bunch of wankery for "the olden days" and none of them can admit that a lot of the games on that list have aged like milk.
2D only fags. First 3D game is at 14th place, and Tekken isn't even in there. I can understand MK not being in there since despite its influence most of the games were pretty bad from a technical perspective, but no Tekken and VF only at 14 is a joke.

If you're more than 10 miles away from each other the netcode is unplayable. I got a code for the beta before the game released on steam and had fun in training mode but I couldn't justify buying it. Hopefully the next iteration they put proper netcode in.

If this is just a general list where the numbers aren't ranks, then it's somewhat okay. I don't agree with some of them like Soul Calibur 5 being there when the older games were better, but it's not as bad as I was expecting. It needs GGXXAC+R on it, though. Also, where the fuck is Melty Blood?
