What's a series or game that you wish would come back?
My best friend let me try AW1 back when it first came out and I fell in love with the series. Dual Strike is the reason I bought a DS second hand from the Asian kid in my class when they were still brand new.

AW has nowhere to go desu.
You can't even make new campaigns, they were already scraping the bottom with DoR.
Why not improve on the things Field Commander tried? Why not make more units to flesh out army possibilities more? Days of Ruin tried. It introduced a lot of cool new units. It made the entire setting more serious. I was /hyped/ thinking about what they would add to the next game.
Just fucking give me Darkspore back. Please.

Okay, here's something: AW 2150. Make it take place on Mars or some shit. All new factions and units. Make orbital units like freighters and starfighters, and make it so that you can switch between the land maps and orbital maps. You could even have units that interact between the two maps, like, I dunno, laser satellites that can hit units on the ground from space.
Throw in 8 man online multiplayer.
Add some really smart AI with machine learning or some shit, not just a predictable AI that's a bunch of scripts.
There, I'd play that.

8 man online would be really fucking slow, and I had enough of Duel Strike's gimmicks.
DoR had a good thing going, but the problem was it didn't have enough content or replayabliity, like hard campaign and war room. Maybe they could have had a Galactic Conquest/ SoulStorm/ ardennes assault mode
A pretty cool looking game that seems like it might be hampered by a lack of unique map features and less charming writing/art.
Still getting it day one though. Only issue I have is deciding to go for the Switch or PC, which will depend wholly on what Sup Forums does since I wanna play it on Sup Forumskends.
Eh, don't like the fantasy aesthetic/graphic choice. Not helping that gameplay wise it's a mess (every unit has a special ability, move and shoot archers, properties being able to heal multiple units in a turn).
Honestly, just waiting to see how far their modding tools go and if it's the different of custom campaigns/maps to actual formula changes
not even a series, but I wish Codename STEAM didn't have a terrible art style and more map variety since it was actually a pretty cool game.
Hear me out on this:
Darkest Dungeon but with STEAM's gameplay
camera over the shoulder so it's more claustrophobic, ambushes would have more impact/ more tactical, bullets would have real physics simulation rather than New Xcom's fake spread

Nothing wrong with slow. It won't be done in an hour if that's what you mean. I'm sure it would be easy to save online multiplayer games and resume them later. It'd be cool to have some massive battle go on for a month.
They could always split playstyles into A and B format with A being matches played in a single session and B being matches that work like those play by mail games.
I would suck so much dick for them to make a new Advance Wars game. I'd swallow every drop to get that.
Honestly, Days of Ruin was the best reboot ever so I'd be happy with them just making DoR2 instead of AW4.

I thought the first two games were fun as fuck, real-time card summoning battles were such a bizarre but awesomely executed concept. Bummed as hell we'll never get a third installment.

Advance Wars is one of my favorite series of all time. The first two didn't log hours played, but according to my DS cartridge I had 500 hours logged.
