By the way, how much time passes between SR and Super? How the fuck Ridley was already alive and well when he kidnapped the baby metroid? Are there 2 Ridleys?
There has to be, also how does the baby metroid not grow at all for the duration of the prime series then grows to enormous size just within the timeframe of super?
Samus Returns looks to take place ater Prime 3. Maybe Prime 4 will show how Ridley became organic again, or show that he's been cloned or something.

The Federation cloned Ridley, the clone eventually matured and became a new, wholly organic Ridley, then it died like a chump to the Omega metroid and was drained of all life forces. The GF then took the body and left it in the cold storage in the research station, presumbly because they were STILL interested in Ridley for some reason (either was a counter to Samus, which is a laughable idea considering he kept getting his ass kicked so hard no amount of item of the week power up can have him get an edge over her) or interested in his retardedly powerful healing factor.

Is not a huge inconsistency but after SR our just Prime in general I sincerely doubt Ridley would just go back his regular organic state. Align him with the evil chozo and give him aeion powers or some shit.
If memory serves, no, there isn't, chronologically it goes from ending to M2/SR to Super, unless Samus took a day or so to refuel at the research station, Ridley would ahve to be right up her ass the entire way back for it to still make sense.

When accounting for Ridley's regeneration, remember that he's like the Zerg. How fast he recoveries is based on how much biomass he has. If the pirates are in a rush to get him going again, they could just feed him their own.
That takes care of the issue then. Ridley recovers enough during say the month between SR and Super.
Anything post fusion will require clones. The original has an established death in super and the X-parasites are gone so no zombie Ridley.

I really liked this fight.
It wasn't as infuriating as the Diggernaut and not entirely luck based on it's last phase like queen Metroid was.

The memories show how in the surface the Aeion is scarce, they have to harvest it from corpses, but in the last pictures the ground is literally gushing Aeion

Haven't beaten SR yet but in all pre Super Metroid encounters, Ridley dissappears for gameplay purposes but canonicly just flies off to recover. You have to remember that remakes and interquls have fucked the timeline a little. Orignally it was just a fight in Metroid and then killing him for good in Super.
Not him but Samus Returns doesn't replace Metroid II the same way Zero Mission doesn't replace Metroid. All you need to know from Metroid is that Samus took out Mother Brain and the Metroids on Zebes. All you need to know from Metroid II is that Samus wiped out the Metroid species and took the Metroid Hatchling to the Ceres Space Colony.
