Yes, but not necessarily good emulation. N64, DC, Xbox, 360, etc

Huh, you know, I wonder why that game never got a PC port.

let me know when vesperia is at 60fps on a sub 4ghz computer. until then, I don't care

pretty nice advancements, even if the sound is choppy. I've heard that the game is mostly "budget god of war with more dicks and lady bits" so I'm not all that interested in it but hey, to each their own

I think emulation will become too complex eventually.

As it is, the consoles are getting harder to hack and if that doesn't happen, learning about the internals becomes far more difficult.

Newer consoles seem like they will take tons of time to get right.
Especially for small groups of people working on it.

Newer consoles pretty much rely on dev documentation getting out somehow. CEMU only came along as fast as it did because some skeezy indie dev sold them the appropriate stuff.

On the contrary, it might get easier. Consoles are becoming glorified prebuilt PCs.

With any documentation it should be pretty easy to start writing an emulator.

yes, except for original xbox, that will never happen

...

Emulation is for fags.

how is persona 5 now?
any console exclusive that's worthwhile with the same rig as the video?

>sub 4ghz

You can get P5 to run pretty stable with that setup and the latest RPCS3.

How's CEMU? Haven't seen a thread for a while.

still a BoTW app instead of an actual Wii U emulator.

fatal frame is playable now with high speed

>Perfect bing bing wahoo emulators are up within years of the hardware release
>For some reason we still struggle getting decent emulators for other shit like PS2/3, Xbox, Saturn, Dreamcast, etc.

It's literally not fucking fair

Classic Xbox fucking when?
Ace Combat 6 emulator when?

>mfw Dolphin now emulates the Gamecube / Wii rendering pipeline to eliminate microstutters from encountering new shaders
THE FUCKING MADMEN

I didn't mean to link to your post but whatever

>n64 emulation is bad because you can't find a safe link

I only ever played the Demo of this game. If I can play it on my PC that will be neat.

>Can emulate some shitty mario game on a toaster perfectly
>Still can't emulate a console that is basically a PC shoved in a plastic container, running slightly altered Windows
I will never get to experience Steel Battalion in glorious 1080p

>Classic Xbox fucking when?

Someone is working on it again.

The problem is the lack o effort, not some impassable barrier.

How do I play on RPCS3 with my Xbox360 controller?

There's always hope for official Microsoft emulator. They said it's more likely to be a thing on PC than their 360 emulator.

>Radio future
Fuck I want to play this game so badly. I love Jet Set Radio but the controls are very finnicky on PC. I've heard that isn't the case on Dreamcast.

Except Mario Kart, 3d world, DKC TF all works flawless now, and there's not much to fix in Xenoblade and Bayonetta 2

That pretty much sums up all worthwhile WiiU games.

The Microsoft emulator for X360 is rather barebones and not all that fast.
On top of that, it requires the recompilation of the original game so it's not even a real emulator, it can only run specific software made for it, and that is handled by Microsoft.

It's a proof of concept that you can do it on a horrible notebook CPU and not much else.

Currently playing in Odin Sphere remaster and it runs perfectly though Velvet's boredom-inducing playstyle makes me fall asleep after Oswald.
Did DeS emulation improve in past month?

In 20 years.

original xbox emulator
ps2 / ps3 emulator
360 emulator
fucking when

>360 emulator
for what pupus

Same as PS3 emulator

my 360 is collecting dust because nogames

On the other hand, my PS4 is working as a coaster for my Xbone and my PS3 hasn't been even plugged in for a few years now due to no games.

Have they emulated enginefu yet?

Do any of the Smackdown Vs Raw games work on it?

Wiah really? Latest dev version I assume?

Oh that's neat! Thanks user!

You connect your 360 controller to your computer, then you select the controller as you input form.

It's rocket science.

>i5 4690k
>try Catherine on RPCS3 yesterday
>game slows down to 15 FPS in the main menu and during the cutscenes
>Vulkan or Opengl doesn't matter

Why?

>how is persona 5 now?

You can finish the whole game and it's graphically perfect, but you need a very powerful CPU for full speed. My 2600K at 4.6GHz only manages about 15-20fps outside of battle in most areas.

You must be doing something wrong, as it runs full speed on far less powerful CPUs than that. Post the settings you used.

...

And audio is OpenAL

Set preferred SPU threads to 1, use Vulkan and strict rendering. Also set SPU delay penalty to 0 (requires editing config.yml manually).

dude...

That fixed the FPS but the audio is all fucked

cool progress but vesperia is still literally unplayable. $1000 Gaming PC, only 3-4 FPS, heavy text and visual glitches, crashes as soon as battles start.

>tfw your hacked ps3 is becoming more obsolete every month

Nevermind i found a way to fix it,you need to change these values

Preferred SPU Threads: 1
Additional Settings:
Lower SPU thread priority
SPU loop detection

if you already have a hacked ps3 there's literally no reason to deal with emulation for years. emulator has zero PSN support, the best games still have issues, etc.

Does this game have anything to do with Dante's inferno?

And why not make a game about Purgatory and Heaven too while you are at it?

It's got the name and the levels are vaguely supposed to be the rings of Hell. It's pretty much all meaningless though, and the game itself is nothing more than a God of War clone in a time where that game was insanely popular.

>ps2 emulation is shit so replaying fatal frame, silent hill, and metal gear solid games is off the table
>ps3 emulation makes playing the mgs hd collection a breeze
