How do you organize your Steam Library?
How do you organize your Steam Library?
Literally why the fuck would you need to do this
I just put uninstalled shit I don't care about into hidden and search anything if I can't find. I mean it's all sorted alphabetically.
...
I dont. Just put game you're currently on favorite or some shit
Organized by genre and one other category for trash.
Why do Germans say "Firewehr station" is that what you call it there?
>favorites for the games I keep replaying
>finished
>multiplayer
>must play
>games for all the unsorted shit
I only hide betas and games I want to forget about (Dear Esther)
AHAHAHAHA He bought into the VR meme
let me see that VR tab
why the fuck can't you delete your categories? I moved all my games into new categories but my old meme categories still get displayed.
Default. It's already organized alphabetically aka the best way
I can't remove it, you know how?
I never bought a VR game but I have a VR tab because of Subnautica, Project CARS and Keep Talking & Nobody Explodes
...
I don't. I have it set to show only installed games, and if I need to install something I just search for it.
You must own less than 75 games.
No fucking idea
Guess you should buy a Vive now. Its cheaper than ever.
They shouldn't. Once you remove all games from a category it disappears. Try restarting/reinstalling steam if you haven't.
Nope. Granted a fuckload of them are shitty indie titles I don't care about. Fucking bundles man.
dynamically changes when you play a different games
Right click, set category, hide this in my game library. Do it for every game in the VR section and it dissapears.
Though I think that hides the game from all your other categories too.
Thanks lad that worked, I don't play Dota2 anymore so it doesn't matter.
>Unfinished
>Finished
>MP only
>Shit I have no intention to play (80% library)
lol no. That's from the one DanielFromSL video, right? You say "Feuerwehr Station" or mostly just "Feuerwehr" in german. The dude in the video was just mixing english and german like crazy because he was stupid.
...
>trippy games
I bet you put Hotline Miami in there
autism
All these categories were created at seperate times, so some of them are not very concise.
I need to spend some time going through each game individually and ensuring they are in all the correct categories.
I separate it by game franchise, if it has more than 1 in the series, I create a category for it, if there's only 1 game, I put them together down in the list by genre.
Pic related.
Steam should give the option to auto-categorize
>Can't organize banners
So I don't organize my shit.
The only way that makes sense to me.
Default.
...
Steam should give you the option to exclude tags from store search results.
>Include Single-player games? Suuuure thing, here you go.
Wait, why are multi-player games still showing up?
>Oh, All of these games have single-player AAAAAND multi-player tee hee hee
Tags are dogshit anyways.
>roguelike
I add categories as needed. I have to have at least 2 games in the genre to make a new category though. Most of it goes by genre, uninstalled shit has its own separate category that remains closed.
I just want to look at recent games that aren't fucking multiplayer, indie, early access, VR, visual novel SHIT! Pisses me off that I have to wade through it because Valve can't do something so simple.
I feel your pain. I miss old Steam where you could actually reasonably know what all the games were that were on Steam, barring maybe a few minor shovelware exceptions. Now it's wading through massive piles of dogshit and Valve has zero incentive to improve anything.
>Reviews more indicative of popularity on Twitch than quality
>Tags are 100% popularity so fags who want to call an action game a puzzle game can do so
>Still lacks basic UI functionality with sorting games, entire concept is tedious as fuck
>download options still sparse and glitchy, games decide to update at weird times
>lots of restrictions on things like trades because retards
>pushes cancerous mobile authenticator
