Because they don't like their own game. See, DbD players spent too much money and invested too much time on DbD to go out and buy Ft13. But DbD is such a shitawful game, they don't want to talk about it, but at the same time they don't want to be reminded that there's a better alternative that they're not a part of, so they're compelled to ceaselessly shitpost on Ft13 threads.

You'll notice that they don't even talk up their game, they just run Ft13 down. At best, they compliment their game only in relation to a negative for Ft13, like having a higher Steam playerbase (albeit a MUCH lower playerbase overall).

At least DbD works and every update doesn't break five things.

i like the friday the 13th game, i dun see how people can hate it. Dead by daylight is great too same kinda game style.

I played it too much. I cant have fun playing it anymore, which is lame because they are only now starting to add things.

I could never get into DBD, it just felt too boring

They pushed a hotfix for their awful update last month, which introduced an annoying bug where you'd hear a swoosh sound every single time Jason broke a window. They took 3 weeks to fix that.
