NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT'S LIKE
TO FEEL THESE FEELINGS

AND I BLAME YOU

wow what a deal

Is this game any good? I think just watching a bunch of witness videos is going to be incredibly boring, and something you get paid to do, not the other way around.

really chugs my noggin fogger

>put a dvd on steam and call it a game

>mfw there are actually infinitely better games for $0.49 on steam now

No, I fucking regret buying this crap.

This!

You niggas needs to play Xeodrifter.

That's $0.99 now.
Still better game and 20 cents less than this piece of shit.

half yearly reminder that a game that is 50c probably has 20c worth of trading cards in it

>Steam
Die.
Between all the games you can pirate, will be able to pirate, and can emulate, you will never need to have Steam malware on your computer or ever pay for a game again.

But I like buying games?

This game is unironically a good detective game.

You aren't buying anything when you give money to Steam. You give them money and get absolutely nothing in return.

I'LL FUCKING RAPE THIS FUCKING GAME. I'LL PRINT OUT THE SOURCE CODE AND PENETRATE RANDOM FUCKING PAGES AND SCREAM INTO THE PILE AND LIGHT THEM ON FIRE AND ROLL ON THEM AND CUM ON THEM AND PISS ON THEM FUCK THIS FUCK YOU FUCK THIS FUCK YOU.

>being that cheap
Get a job user, hers your (you).

I like these kinds of things, but even I'll admit that this was pretty weak. And that's coming from someone who liked Gone Home and Dear Esther.

>I am a leech

I thought this game got great reviews. Why does this board say it's bad?

Viva's perfect!

>A game that came out over two years ago is on sale for 80%
WOW. NO WAY

I had a lot of fun with it, but obviously not everyone is going to like it. You have to be interested in the story and there's not really any "gameplay". I found the concept to be pretty interesting though. You have to figure out what happened and type in relevant keywords, but they have to be relatively specific because you only get to watch a limited amount of clips and only the first ones. So most of the later and more interesting clips are only available if you figure out the relevant keywords first. Of course you can guess at random and succeed with that eventually. I think it's unique. If that sounds interesting then you probably shouldn't read anything else as any spoilers will completely ruin the game for you.

Too close to a movie, too cheap looking and too many real life females. It's not rocket science to figure out.

it's a new and exciting Sup Forums meme where if a game goes on sale you post a screenshot of the discount and put sad song lyrics in capital letters

guaranteed replies every time

It's more like a non-linear film, and I really liked it.

I'd imagine most people haven't played it and assume it's basically just another form of walking simulator. I think the fact that it actually requires decision-making and essentially puzzle-solving to progress and unravel a non-linear story elevates it to at least game status, where things like Gone Home aren't because they're simply "wander around and read shit we prepared for you while things happen."

That said, it is a really simple game and probably doesn't appeal to a wide audience. Also some of the story is a little silly, the non-linear nature of how you reveal it can lead to multiple interpretations (which is the point), but every interpretation has evidence that contradicts it and a lot of your interpretation can fall on whether or not you actually believed the absurdity of one thing over another. So I think some people will be frustrated that it's ultimately very nebulous.

This "laugh at every game that doesn't reach worldwide acclaim" can't die fast enough, hopefully when all those 15 year olds get jobs

>FEELINGS
I hate women.

So, is Her Story a good game then?

>Only 80%
Even 100% is not cheap enough for me to buy that stupid shit.

It's actually a pretty fun time piecing the clips together to make sense of it, won't be good a second time of course but with this price it's totally worth it.

Honestly the game's kinda interesting in how it's designed and laid out. It's not great, but I have more respect for what it's trying to do then other interactive movies.

Calling it a game might be stretching it, but I think so, yes.

Looks like Sega CD game.

Widely depends on person, you could easily hate or enjoy the experience

it is a very original title, desu
the thing is, someone will spoil it to you in the thread

Interesting, not amazing. Also one of the only times I've seen my city mentioned in modern fiction. Shame it's in such a horrible context.

>someone will spoil it to you in the thread

do it, i dare you
