I have a PC from before any of the current-gen consoles came out, and it still runs games today. It doesn't run them well, but thanks to the fact that you can actually tweak settings on PC, I've gotten more mileage out of my computer than anyone would who got a console at the same time.

Still less hassle than PC

Well I mean he is wrong though. My current pc will have me set for at least 8 years before games start having to be put down to high/medium. Unlike consoles that come out every other year.
