All these years later, haven't touched the game in at least 2, and it still has such an impact on me. Hits me right in the gut. I feel like breaking into song.

>Almost a decade since AC6 came out
>Still looks better than any other game on the 360
>Still looks better than a lot of AAA games today

AC3 is a must-play now that the translation is finished.
The story is really good, although it's a lot darker than the other games.

I do too. I naturally like E flat tones anyway, but there's something that makes me refuse to say "I like it because it's corny."

Who's ready for flying in the 90s?

Chris Pratt

Is that the Cobra Maneuver thing people were talking about before?

Were you able to do shit like this in the older games, or have they updated the flightmodel?

Nope, before you would just drop if you stalled

Cooooooobra

The same cobra maneuver that has gotten 100% of its pilots killed in actual combat? The one that should only be done in dumb air show events?

Oh shit yeah that's him thanks. I kept thinking it might be someone from Arrested Development and you were right!

It's never been used in combat.

Was Larry in the wrong? A world without borders doesn't sound so bad.

Don't mind me.

But would getting rid of them really change anything? The world won't change for the better unless we trust people. Trust is vital in a peaceful world.

But that will never happen. I'm still on a battlefield. and right now i'm near a border.

In my opinion, dark doesn't really suit Ace Combat. AC is about high-flying heroes saving the day with awesome planes and tons of missiles, not corporate dystopia and cyberpunk existentialism.

I want to see for myself what borders really mean, and what their volition really is. I may not find what I'm looking for, but I still wanna try. Anyway, that's what I've come to believe, and I think that's enough.

Will he see this video? If you do meet him, give him a message for me:

Larry saw no redemptive qualities in humanity and used those feelings to justify global terrorism. Yes, he was wrong. Yes, venturing into the unknown is necessary, but engulfing the world in darkness and causing mayhem because he detests the errors of humanity doesn't absolve him or anyone else of responsibility. Everyone else who fought Galm 1 who survived managed to move on except for Joshua/Wizard1, who joined yet another terrorist organization and seems quite happy in his delusional "borderless" prison surrounded in darkness. Society and government can't operate outside of its own values, and neither should individuals. Would you live by no rules and hold yourself unaccountable because fuck the world? Even if Osea took your Belkan clay or if neighboring countries squabble over the land to watch it cause more fighting? Even if a terrorist organization was overlooking nations, whose to say that they wouldn't squabble themselves? It's honestly more likely since they have no respect for order to begin with.

That's some grim shit for an AC game.

Also, am I the only one who can't hear "Warwolf" without thinking of this?

>Larry saw no redemptive qualities in humanity
I think it was less about humanity and more about nation-states and their governments. The idea was to reset everything and give people a chance to start over. That would be pointless if he didn't think people had the potential to do better. It's just that he thought people were stuck in a world that wouldn't let them fulfill that potential.
