Game comes out in japan as console exclusive

>game comes out in japan as console exclusive
>"THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER, SONY WON"
>PC players get their hands on it
>it's okay, nothing too special
>"IT WAS ALWAYS SHIT, WE NEVER LIKED IT ANYWAYS"

Why does this happen every single fucking time?

Because not everyone on Sup Forums is the same person.

>I only browse Sup Forums

These. Not to mention, some people just outright have insecurity issues if they are not little special lads with exclusivity to the ONE console/machine they've purchased.

>persona 5
it's nice to have dreams

Already fully emulatable.

They need something to justify their console purchase.
Most people of Sup Forums believe everybody only buys them based on exclusives, which have been poor lately anyway.

I'd wager most people actually buy them because they don't have to mess around with a PC(or are too young for one).
I'm an ausfag and some relatives that still live out in the sticks just bought an xbone, their internet is shit and they bitch about all the online updates.
I think consoles should not have tried to become mini PCs in that regard.

The PC for multiplats, console for exclusives meme is something i've literally only seen online. Every person I've met in real life either plays exclusively on PC or exclusively on a console. Sometimes a handheld is thrown in there

This is the funniest

>game is pc exclusive (minecraft/pubg)
>">PC """gaming""" "
>gets ported to console
>instantly outsells every other game on the console e.g. minecraft last gen, pubg this gen

>Persona 5 on there
Literally never ever

>pubg not even out yet
>only on xbox one
>outsells 7 million on pc
???

Already happened, enjoy your 30 fps :^)

It really depends on what platform it is.

I'd guess about 90 percent of people find exclusives a major reason to buy a switch, 50 percent for pc (pubg, various mobas at high settings, cs go) and under 10 percent for the ps4/xbone.

This board is completely out of touch

Atelierfags have been shitting on the games since E&L, no one was saying Sophie was the best when it was Sony exclusive.
>b-but Vitagen!
>browsing /vg/

The degenerate 3rd world thieves just "emulate" it like they do most of the games they play

Prove it.

>The PC for multiplats
i haven't played any multiplat in the past two years other than doom 16, you could say divinity os2 but its still a pc only game

It's way more than that now, it was the psn best seller 3 months in a row.

It might sell less than on pc. But it will be the top seller instead of gta on the ps4/xbone.

In the real world, Nintendo consoles are bought for Nintendo games. PC gaming is made up of online multiplayer focused games and the "console to own", which this gen is the PS4, is for everything else

That looks like its only 60fps in cutscenes which are limited animation anyway, a shame.
I'd check it out when they've made enough progress for it to be 60fps throughout. I don't own any consoles for that reason, can't stand the low fps.

Why are console war threads always started by PC fags?

Find something better to do you useless sack of shit.

Because PC shitters have no games..

That's really unfortunate. I don't even notice a significant difference unless there are bad drops

>minecraft

This is true, but the consoles are used mainly for multiplayer games aswell irl (gta, cod, battlefield and fifa? (it's mainly multiplayer right))

Yes, Pretty much everything is focused on online multiplayer now

People hated XV long before a PC port.

It's almost always the opposite. The game comes out on PC and all the steamfags hail it as the greatest thing ever, thanks for betatesting.
