What are your hopes for the Story DLC?

>Villain arc, get three new character duos
>Wario and Bwario, Waluigi and Bwaluigi, Bowser Jr. and Nabbit

Basically that.

Don't forget the Phantom.

Fuck that. I want to play as Wario and Waluigi, not fight them.

That's what he's saying, user: you'd be playing as the villains and their Rabbid counterparts.

You're forgetting Rayman.

Ah, I misread it.

Rayman is too big for DLC: he should be the highlight act of the sequel.

Defak?
Now Bowser Jr is always stuck inside the Helikoopa or what?

More Mario fangirl[/spoiler/]

He does leave it at the end of the game. After it gets destroyed.
Which is kind of weird, because in the games he never seems to give two shits when it gets wrecked.

I just want Daisy and a Daisy rabbid.

I want to play the Prime timeline where MegaBowser wins.

Maybe she'd get paired up with Lava Queen. She, Bwario, and Bwaluigi are definitely gonna have some role in the DLC.

...

Gosh, Bowser Jr is adorable in this game, I love his animations.

That's probably a given-- the DLC at the very least will probably show Beep-O going back home.

Pretty much. Thanks to the Smash amiibo he'll probably always be stuck in that thing.

Y E S

I was actually very surprised they didn't show her in the ending. At the same time, it's kind of refreshing, but it also makes you wonder if the plot will ever have more closure or, in case the story DLC ever comes up, they'll still end the plot with neither Beep-0 or the Rabbids actually coming back home or Beep-0 coming back to its owner, but the Rabbids sticking around Mushroom Kingdom just because they either can't or don't want to.

I'd like to get a vs mode myself.

I want to know why Beep-O suddenly grew ears. They pointed it out at the start and never went back to it. I mean, wasn't he some sort of nonphysical AI in the headset at the start? How did he become a robot? My guess is that he somehow became fused with a Rabbid and isn't aware of it.

I'd rather know how the hell he seemed so familiar with the rabbids and acted like he had known Mario for years. No formal introduction, just "Mario, we've got to stop them!"

I'm guessing Beep-O got the ears because it and Spawny are connected. Spawny traded some Rabbid DNA mass and Beep-O contributed some intelligence/common sense.

You might be on to something. Wasn't Beep-O originally a program for the headset and not a real physical robot?

Not litterally. But figuratively, yes. He is stuck inside of that thing as long as Nintendo keeps thinking we can't get enough of it, for some reason.

>When you actually thought for a minute Beep-O was actually a real life physical bot built by the girl

Fuck, it never even occurred to me him being a program.

Uh, the ending outright explains it. Time travelling machine hijinks, he sends stuff to help himself and the Mario crew.

I'm more interested finding out just how on Earth Bowser Jr. managed to sneak those text messages about Phantom and tricking him into the whole "Mr. Tom Phan" thing.

No, that was how he helped through the emails: I'm talking about the very first things he said to Mario like they had met before. We also never learn if he had ever encountered Rabbids before this incident, but the way he said they were acting 'worse than usual' makes it seem like he has.

Bowser Jr. has a phone, he can text. Future Beep-O probably gave him his number to create a stable time loop.

I chalk that up to Ubisoft not bothering to keep track of those kinds of plot holes.

He lived with one of the biggest Mario fangirls. Any of us would have that level of familiarity if we were teleported to the Mushroom Kingdom.

I want Wario and Waluigi

I'm just saying he acted pretty casual about seeing Mario. He wasn't like "HOLY SHIT, YOU'RE MARIO!" Or even "Oh, I know you!" It almost feels like he was meant to have a longer introduction but it was cut to get to the game quicker.

>We also never learn if he had ever encountered Rabbids before this incident, but the way he said they were acting 'worse than usual' makes it seem like he has

Maybe Beep-O uses a kind of research engine/programming that allows him to search information about stuff? Fuck, he probably just Google'd them. We're led to assume that the girl, Beep-O and the Rabbids are actually from a pretty common Earth, except with Rabbids residing in it.

It looked like the Rabbids were native to that Earth. It is also possible that Beep-O itself was merged to a Rabbid.

We're talking about Miyamoto here, he could have given a eye peek at the plot and said "Wait, what the fuck are you guys doing". I'm pretty surprised Bwario and Bwaluigi are a thing in the actual game, but the game has been almost entirely made by Ubisoft Milan as far as I know.

I'd like to see more Mario enemies incorporated into the game. Goombas would be like civilians in X-Com style terror missions. Turtles could be wandering around before being shot and knocked around the stage. Hammer Bros would assist in fights as cannon fodder. Having the Rabbids turn evil and try to take over the kingdom would also be cool.

Rabbids' games take place in a universe where they just coexist with humans, and in those games, they cause havoc. He probably has a built in search engine for shit like this. Pretty simple explanation.

>We also never learn if he had ever encountered Rabbids before this incident, but the way he said they were acting 'worse than usual' makes it seem like he has.
Rabbids were retconned as being from Earth, everybody knows about them since they're always causing mayhem.

>Having the Rabbids turn evil and try to take over the kingdom would also be cool

I was actually surprised that, as the game went by and you'd defuse more and more of the Rabbid enemies (since they were against you because they were corrupted by fusing with common items/enemies), more would pile on your side and they would seemingly either chill or build something near Peach's castle which would eventually come in aid for Mario and the rest.

Wasn't there something like this in Rayman Rabbids?

You pretty much described what I wanted.
I do hope Junior gets more screentime. He was really well done.

The Peach Rabbid reminds me of Roger from American Dad.

In that spirit I'd like to see some DLC based around drug fueled benders.

Yeah. When I first saw the bad guy Rabbids, I was wondering what the difference was between them and normal Rabbids in cosplay. Peaceful Rabbids were unexpected. It doesn't take much for Rabbids to cause trouble. I can easily imagine the Rabbids rioting among each other over something dumb before turning on Mario for trying to stop them.

I wanted Nabbit back when this game was first leaked since it made so much sense, but that's only a fever dream.

I am the only thay thinks thay rabbids fit in the mushroom kingdom? They could pass as another race living there.

Nah, they could easily pass off as merely cartoon alien bunnies, but that's only because their designs are overly simplistic.

That game was really odd. The intro is basically Rayman having a picnic with the Globox kids and the kids wound up getting snatched (?) by the Rabbids, followed by Serguei (their commander?). The beginning was really off putting at first with the whole jail thing, but as Rayman appeased them more and more, they would treat him better? Then he finally gets enough plungers to get away from all that shit (his jail now all accommodated and shit) and only then realizes he fucking forgot about the Globox kids (who's real location was never found out I think), which he just assumed the Rabbids would treat them the same as he was and tried to return to their lair.

Why Junior with Nabbit specifically? Why not the Lava Queen?

Am I a disappointment for not doing the ultimate challenges? The first one with all the bosses seems impossible. Gonna go back and do everything else though.

>Why Junior with Nabbit specifically?
Well gee, user, I dunno.

He's not even a Rabbid, though. And if Nintendo hasn't explained that the bandana thing by now odds are they're intending to never explain it.

>He's not even a Rabbid, though

I've been thinking about this for a long time now, and it makes a bunch of sense

The Rabbids are inter-dimensional beings that cause chaos. They go to different dimensions and usually fuck shit up, just generally causing chaos wherever they go.
Think about the very first game they were in. They just kinda showed up in Rayman's universe, didn't they? No reason, no explanation for tonal shifts, nothing. They just appeared and starting messing up stuff.

Could be. Ever since their debut, I always thought of them as invaders (from the Moon or some other similar planet) that first crashed into Rayman's world. RRR2 had this odd setting where both Rayman and the Rabbids were on Earth though, but there was also a interesting bit in the intro that struck me as them wanting to learn how to be more civilized/cultured (?) in order to properly blend and/or create their utopia. In a way, their franchise seems revolved on them actually succeeding to a extent invading these places while learning more about what's around them. As of lately, they're now on Earth, but Rayman seems to no longer be involved (it seems both universes were split apart).

And now they've seemingly succeeded in invading the Mario series, but at the same time, are growing more and more peaceful/productive, even if still their crazier selves.

I didn't really like Bowser Jr. but this game really made him cute.
