so are some of power up pick ups like a missile pack in area 4(?) actually require you to get good at morph ball bomb jumping or is there a way around this? i cant do it for shit.

its a tiny vertical area to jump but its in water so my high jump is useless. i cant space jump because red spikes on each side. i JUST got the ability to slow down time by the way

i can only get up to

>jump again lay 2 bombs one after another
and then i cant figure out the timing

The game places you at your last save before the final boss, so you can go to the nearby teleporter and hunt for all the stuff you missed.

That's what happens when people complain as loudly and angrily as they have about Metroid: they're forced to announce a game that probably at that stage amounted to some notes Tanabe had scribbled on a napkin and a jpeg and intern put together in 3 minutes.

Looking at this fact sheet is hilarious because they're trying to stretch out the literally one single thing that anybody knows about the game (Tanabe is working on it) with several paragraphs of fluff that say nothing.

I can guarantee you that at this point they haven't even come close to finishing the proof of concept for the game. I highly doubt there's even a completed design doc.

I am very happy and optimistic about it, but I think people are going to be frustrated as fuck when we don't see any trailers or info for it for over two years, because most games aren't even announced until they have an alpha version and this one was announced before they even had one single piece of concept art.

It was probably a lose-lose scenario for Nintendo because if they didn't say anything we'd continue to have WOW METROID IS DEAD, and they chose to instead just put up with the WOW WHERE IS IT NINTENDO HUH WHERE IS IT WHERE'S METROID NINTNEOD YOU SAID THERE'D BE METROID

I liked this game but my hand was starting to hurt from playing too long. Wish this gets ported to a console for better analog.

I'm biased on Fusion and ZM though because I've literally played ZM over a hundred times and it bores me now, whereas I've played Fusion like three times total and so far between that it feels fresh every time I do.
