Almost exclusively in handheld mode, but that's because I like playing in bed.

TV mode for Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2
TV or tabletop mode for MK8
TV or handheld mode for Sonic Mania

TV Mode. More comfortable since I just lay on the couch.

Mostly Portable or table top. It's mostly cause I don't have a TV right now but I like the portable options since it's hard for me to sit down and play on a tv for hours on end.

I would have never beaten BotW if there wasn't a handheld mode.

Split equally between all 3, I'd say. Handheld happens more often if I bring it to work or something.

haven't undocked it since the day I bought one

Handheld mode for the most part with some time in tabletop, mostly for ARMS.

TV. Games like BoTW look shit on the handheld.

tv mode in my computer room, handheld in bed

Handheld mode or table top when it isn't charging
TV when it is.

I actually love kicking my feet up and playing tabletop mode.

Handheld mode.

don't have one nor have I held one, is it heavy in handheld mode? on a scale of an iPad to the Surface, how heavy is it?

alone = Handheld
with friends = TV

Handheld mode for the shitter
Tabletop mode in bed (lay down on side, set Switch on side in front of face, cover self in blanket with the joycon in each hand)
TV mode for more intense games which require full attention

10% of the time i play it on tv
30% of the time its tabletop
60% handheld

Garbage bin mode, where it belongs.

Handheld
I became so used to it that I can't aim in tv mode anymore

Mostly TV, handheld for when I want to get extra /comfy/.

TV and when too lazy for that on handeld.

I had to unplug the dock from my TV since it would automatically detect a feed and switch channel randomly while I was trying to play other consoles.
Haven't used TV mode since then.
Haven't used my Switch much since then either really.
That was 5 months ago.

tv mode because i feel like i have to justify owning a tv. Yet to use tabletop mode but I did use handheld mode when my boss was like "ayyy while you're working in that city after you're finished wait another 8 hours for another assignment to do in that city"

Mostly handheld with occasional TV long sessions. Tabletop mode is trash, too small to see anything.

pretty much exclusively tabletop

I have a stand set up next to my computer so I can shitpost or read news articles while I play

I'm a fat fuck so when I lie in my bed tabletop mode is literally a godsend since it's uncomfortable putting both my arms on my big belly and that way I can comfortably lay both my arms on the sides where they belong.

Handheld

I have almost 190 hours on Splatoon 2 and if I have docked it for 3 matches is enough

I can't really play splatoon if not on Handheld.

I rock all three but in order
>Tv 1st
> Port 2nd
> Tabletop 3rd
TV because I work and usually just come home and chill in bed while playing .
Portable for when I'm out and about
Tabletop seems to come exclusively when I'm doing other things on the computer, or I'm over a friends house and were playing Splatoon or MK8

I just got mine with no games. Picross is in 2 days though so I am good and will probably use it in handheld mode.

They fixed that in an update

TV = Handheld >>>>>>>>>>>>> Tabletop

That's really good news. I'll probably plug it in again in a month to play Mario.

TV or tabletop.

TV mode, I only have BotW and Splatoon 2. I have yet to buy a carrying case so I don't take it outside yet.

Handheld mode mostly. Never used it in tabletop mode, I can't imagine when I would.

The switch is hooked up to my PC monitor, so it's mostly TV mode with all the PC stuff move to the second monitor or tabletop in front of the keyboard.

TV mode>Handheld mode>Tabletop mode

95% handheld
5% TV

Can barely hold the joycons when they're not connected to something. My hand's fucked. Had the same trouble with the wii

I thought I would never undock this. Turns out handheld mode is where it is at. I play waaay more like this than anything else.

I prefer to play in TV mode, but the thing is, I barely touch the Switch when I'm at home since it's easier to just start playing something on my PC.

So most of the time I use it it's when I'm commuting. I bought Splatoon 2 and was really excited for it. I have yet to touch the multiplayer.

TV mode or Tabletop mode, playing in Handheld makes me feel like I'm going to bend the console

Handheld mode gives me cramps sometimes

I haven't used tv mode in a while now that I think about it. It's usually tabletop mode while I keep it on a stand. I use handheld mode a lot too. Thinking of buying myself one of those stands where you can attach it to the bed, but I'm not sure it I wanna embrace that level of manchild.

Wait, this is a thing?

thats a rather clean trashcan desu senpai

Mostly TV mode. Sometimes handheld to play between burger commercials.

Cell Phone Clip Holder, CHOETECH Gooseneck Nintendo Switch Mount Holder Stand, Flexible Long Arm Holder for Cell Phones, Tablets & E-readers, Lazy Mount Clip on Desktop, Bed, Night Stand, etc amazon.com/dp/B06WVPX3FF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_o6OYzbN6MKNZA

Ah fuck it copied the damn name of the item too. Damn Amazon app.

Neat, but I don't feel comfortable having it block the air intake in the back. It's primarily why I went with Hori when looking for stand.

Docked, one joy con in each hand. Literally the most comfy way to play.

Trashcan Mode

Docked mode. The handheld is reserved for long trips.

i discovered how comfy docked and separated joycons is. Really nice.
