Why haven't you built a PC yet?

Why haven't you built a PC yet?

I did you saussage.

I'm honestly wishing I hadn't, troubleshooting PC issues is fucking cancer. I've used it and enjoyed it for a couple games, but compared to the expense and the general hassle of things sometimes not working for no reason it's been kind of a wash

Still waiting for my ethereum to reach around $430ish b4 I pull out and get one

I'm on my 4th build right now user.

I'm seriously thinking of for pubg

inb4 hurrr durr normie

because they are console women
>can't think objectively
>tie themselves to a company
>love to waste money

Do it. I built one in May for pubg and haven't regretted it. I ended up playing a bunch of other games too since the only computers I had previously were two macbooks that I had gotten for my 14th, and then 20th birthdays.

it's a good game, nigger. people are just mad over the game because they can't play it or they're just bad

No money. Don't have any consoles either desu, dunno why am i even here.

Troubleshooting PC issues? What PC issues? I've been building my own custom machine for years now and the only time it ever gives me issues is when a component is either dead or dying.

There aren't supposed to be any troubleshooting PC issues and if there are you fucked up somehow and are the only person to blame.

just because it's moderately popular doesn't mean it's normie bait

i wanted to, but decided to go with ps4.
im glad i did.

I'm pretty sure I will once my ps plus (multiplayer) has run out. The toaster I use for uni is going to need replacing soon so I'll also use it for that.

but I did, feels good to not be a retard

i'm in the process of buying parts but these damn bitcoin miners fucked up all my plans

cancer, you are the fucking malignant disease killing the game industry.

The game is fucking indie trash, and there are at least 7 other games, on the same fucking engine with the exact same gameplay.

god i fucking hate you

You're not alone in this

>bum around letgo, get a cheap Mobo/CPU
>secondhand R9 on Craigslist
>About to get the last screws & drive bays I need
>$500 used i5 w. RX670, assembled and working shows up
Guess I'm reselling the parts

>built a pc for not playing games.

>being an actual retard
>2017
>saying nigger

What a bunch of faggots

Too lazy and busy with uni. I'll have to eventually, but for now I'm fine with my half broken laptop and consoles. Also I still can't see the difference between 30 and 60 fps.

I did. I don't use it for games because fuck Windows

>Buy all my components in July
>PSU shipped DOA
>Replace, still not working
>Mobo fried on arrival
I'm waiting until after I graduate to replace it in December cuz I financially cannot afford to spend money so frivolously.

I don't even know how I could have fried my MOBO. I took extra fucking precautions.

>troubleshooting PC issues is fucking cancer
What are you talking about? I started PC gaming back in 2012 and the only problem I've ever had was launching WoW, but I quickly realised that I needed to launch the game in the 32 bit client instead of the 64 bit one.

why don't you just RMA your broken shit?
it's really not hard

What issues you knuckle dragging chode? Are you that stupid? Over a year later I've had zero issues with my build and it's a bog standard gaming windows ten build. It's pretty idiot proof so it must user error aka your dumb ass.

Because I'm trying to burn out this laptop first. But the controls to overclock it are locked so I don't really know how to improve it's usefulness in a way that will kill it.

>pc gaming great they said
>get steam
>games are either shit ports, indie trash, valve paywall garbage, or reddit stream games

The only real advantages I've had on PC gaming is niche games, those rare old games that were ported well that run better on PC

I have, love the damn thing
only problem I had was the boot SSD going south but I half expected that because it was a refurb for super cheap.
now I've got a new boot SSD and all is well

for what purpose?
don't kill it and keep it around after the Desktop build or sell it.
Why try to kill it?

Play the same ones you played before. e.g. if you had a ps4 play cod, gta, fifa, minecraft and battlefield

>indie trash
I love this meme because out side of Sup Forums no one gives a shit. Factorio, rimworld, and pubg are some of thr best games i have ever played.

Because im stuck in a conundrum. My wife needs a computer. I got her a laptop at one point, 2012 i think. Got her a better specced one recently and the old one shits all over it in terms of loading games etc....she thinks she wants a desktop but i dont know what cpu to get her. I dont want to get her an i7 because expensive and wasted potential ,but if i get her an i5 and its too fucking slow? When i tried slapping a cheap bundle together it was 800 bucks. I could save 100 but im retarded at pirating software (os). Ive used to be average at this stuff and now im normie tier.

I've been planning to, i don't know a whole lot about hardware of computers, nonetheless it's such a hassle picking the right parts

That's just planning and part picking aggravating takes time, research/comparing etc, let alone actually *building* one, i'm not going to play around and fuck it up.

I know a few contacts willing to help me, truthfully i don't really want a friend to half-ass it (it's not that hard) (you can't fuck it up) again i want it done right.

I've been thinking that since i don't know allot about hardware i have to compare research ask opinions which always differ, essentially it comes down to the same thing tho

i'm willing to pay a minimum of 1000 if necessary, which just pressures me even more since i don't want to spend money on the wrong parts etc.....

I've been thinking f buying a prebuild one and look at the stats etc, that's another topic, what if somethings wrong etc... paying a prebuild ober the internet is stupid so might as well build one, it's a never ending loop, i understand the convenience/trustworthiness of a console.

I've been thinking a year and a half

Cause it's a lot cheaper to just go to one of those websites where you pick all the parts and they build the computer for you.

>being this much of a fat fucking retard
kill yourself, faggot

Sonybros hate this

I have. Linux PC for serious work. For play I have several consoles.

Since you're reddit spacing, you should go on /r/buildapc who will give you a build and links for your country.

Or logical increments and pick your budget, also has links. It's not hard, picking them yourself isn't hard either.

the fuck is your wife using a PC for where an i5 will be too slow?

go to the PC building general in Sup Forums, they know their stuff and don't recommend shitty overpriced builds like in other places

i got no money

why don't your get a job?

>pc building is so fucking level entry most websites decided to put a "we'll make it for you" and it's so easy they don't bother charging more than 5$ for it
>softwares are so easy you just need to clic on "next" even if you don't know how to read

what the flying hell user, it's easier than using a bike

I did

I have, build one circa 2015 for one thousand euro keks, got a new screen and an xbox controller.
So far I have
350 hours in W3 *(modded some of the graphics until I found stuff I liked)
300 hours in GTA 5
200 hours in combined in various total war games
50 hours in Metro both old and new (redux)
also caught up with AC since I bought them before, Black Flag and Unity were great, looked amazing, same goes for that Mad Max game, I know they're casual pleb games but they are really beautiful and sometimes it's just nice to play a fun game that's less demanding.

Also have like 150-200 hours in CK2 and Xcom 2 each, goddamn those games are far more enjoyable when you're not herrased by terrible performance.

Oh and Dirty Rally, also very fun but it's very demanding, played like a charm on my machine though, one of the reasons I got a controller besides a few other titles like fighters.

I don't need a PC to play console ports and I actually do value having exclusives that aren't tumblr indieshit.
