Which Sims games is the best for building? I just want to build houses and mansions and shit. Which one has the most items/diversity of styles?
Also what Sims game has the most freedom, i heard that sims 4 didnt do this well. Like you cant walk around how you could in 3?
Nathan Cruz
Probably TS3.
Anthony Cook
1 because it has the best music.
Colton Brooks
>Also what Sims game has the most freedom, i heard that sims 4 didnt do this well. Like you cant walk around how you could in 3? 3 is the best for this. 4 got rid of the seamless neighborhood
Gabriel Rodriguez
Pretty much this. 4 has more building details such as better diagonals and re-sizing. But with the best mods you'll probably get a lot more out of 3 overall.
Elijah Edwards
In terms of just building, 4 without contest. 3 has the most seamless freedom, 4 has about the same as 2. 2 is still the best
Easton Richardson
>4 got rid of the seamless neighborhood Not OP, but this is one hell of a relief for me. I own TS3, and wanted to play some Sims soon again. It's just kinda nice to know I never have a reason to buy and play TS4.
Adam Powell
I know this thread isn't about EA-bashing, but I can't help but be depressed when I look at upcoming stuff >Cats and Dogs expansion >basically Pets but not even with other animals, just Cats and Dogs
Adrian Gutierrez
4
Cameron Moore
Is it possible to play Sims 1 on PC?
Jason Fisher
No, only Xbox.
Julian Howard
i have no idea
no one's selling it, though, so that suggests there might be some compatibility problems with modern OSs
Levi Wright
I play it on both my laptop that has 8.1 and my desktop that got force upgraded to 10. No issues, but you may need to run it in compatibility mode.
Landon Wright
I have no problem playing it on win7
Nathaniel Brown
>3 straight games now where pets is just added in later for a price
I kinda wish they'd include all past expansions in the base game and then do crazy shit for dlc
Jaxon Fisher
google sketchup
Jayden Thomas
>4 >can't add your own lot sizes or change building because the guys doing it already said the literally don't know how to implement that so no one should expect it >best for building
Colton Baker
3 with all the expansion packs.
The only thing 4 does right is the body sliders for making cumsluts.
Jaxson Gomez
>3 with all the expansion packs. note that you need one hell of a computer to do this. most people are better off picking and choosing just a few expansions
Xavier Diaz
no no no, you see, EA needs to make a horses STUFF PACK. Then they can nickel and dime you as they need.
Charles Hall
3 with EP. Anybody who says 4 is objectively wrong. 3 has CaS which is a major factor.
Caleb White
sims 3 with all the expansions has more content than every other sims game combined, honestly just load up everything minus pets and island paradise and you are good to go (the two expansions with the most issues)
Jordan Hughes
Wait wasn't Sims 3 released years ago? I'm sure a modern computer can run it, it's not Crysis
Blake Lopez
Sims Bustin' Out
Levi Thompson
It's incredibly, horribly, terribly optimized. It's really, really really fucking bad. It's so bad that even with an entire suite of mods attempting to fix it, it's still bad.
Sims 3 really is the best sims ever made with the most amount of shit to do and the open neighborhood, but holy fuck the optimization and code is TERRIBLE. It's going to lag unless you have a top tier I7, 16gb of ram, and a GOOD SSD.
Jacob Reyes
every expansion you add makes it perform worse and every bit of content adds to the load time
crysis runs well on much lesser hardware than sims 3 + all the expansions
Daniel Rodriguez
shit memory managment and data corruption, even with 16 of ram you will need to save the game and close it from time to time, doesn't matter if we get futuristic quantum computers, the game will always work like shit because it's broken >minus pets and island paradise you CAN install one, but don't run them at the same time
Eli Watson
>It's going to lag unless you have a top tier I7, 16gb of ram, and a GOOD SSD. I don't have any of those things and it runs fine for me with the exception of some long loading screens when I first load a neighborhood. I don't have any performance mods either. It's still a horribly optimized game but I think you may be exaggerating.
Jacob Howard
are performance mods worth getting?
Easton Young
they're basically required, get all the core NRAAS mods like mastercontroller, overwatch, errortrap, traveller at the very least, storyprogression is also recommended because EA's is shit.
Cameron Taylor
The load times for TS4 are much better, so the lack of seamless neighborhood isn't terribly missed when it takes just 2 seconds to load the next house over without bloating your game to shit because it has to keep it in memory constantly on the off chance you visit it just because your sims are close by.
Nathan James
But then how would they milk the soccer mom fanbase?
Gabriel Diaz
>vast majority of people, including die hard fans, agree that the sims 3 runs terribly regardless of system specs >lol works for me
Jeremiah Scott
I reckon it would work for most people with parts from the last 5 years or so. I'm just saying the "you need a supercomputer to run S3" meme just isn't true anymore.
