Fuck off. They are fun to play. And on the higher difficulties they are even hard to play. The platforming is very barebones sure but there are some very well crafted levels with some genuinely interesting encounters. Not to mention the huge set pieces.

They're "hard" because they flood each segment with enemies that have pinpoint accuracy and a single shot almost kills you. Balancing hitscan enemies like that just results in you having to play like a scared bitch the whole time.

Where does this game fall in the series of uncharted games? I bought the Nathan Drake collection (games 1-3) and Uncharted 4. Spent less than $30 for them all. I beat up to 3, just downloaded all 18GB worth of updates for 4. Does this game come before or after 4? Or is it completely unrelated and just a side story about 2 strong girls?

OP: If you enjoy the series, you'll enjoy this one. If you haven't liked anything they've done so far skip it. The Lost Legacy is an Uncharted game through and through, and it is a much better Uncharted than Drakes's Deception, although that doesn't mean much. I'd never heard of 'YAS QUEEN' until these threads, and it is fucking meaningless. The fact that something so small rustles jimmies so hard is asinine. It triggers Sup Forums in the same way the 'Bros before Hoes' trophy in God of War triggered the SJWs.

He's not talking about crushing, he's talking about the difficulties under that which aren't really anything to talk about when it comes to comparing difficulty in general.

Crushing is hard for the wrong reasons. Something like GnG requires various skillsets and while the series can have absolutely imbalanced and bullshit segments they're at least fun and engaging to learn and execute. Crushing is just a mess from start to finish due to the game not being remotely built to be played that way. It's literally just turning the numbers up.

Difficult mechanic? Wtf are you on about. If you are being charged by 5 guys and being forced out of your cover. You just don't survive, or you have to take damage because you sure as fuck can't kill all of them fast enough to survive. I would love to see you do every encounter in Uncharted on hard without dying and without cheesing/ruining the game for yourself to prove some point.
The only 'easy' ways to beat the game also takes 5 times as long, only actually autistic people would ever use them.

I will except that argument for Uncharted 1-3, but Uncharted 4 is a different beast altogether, and the scenarios are very similar to Ghosts and Goblins. You have to use cover more like Max Payne 3. It is just a temporary pit stop while you prepare to murder a guy for his much more powerful weapon. Hard and below can be played VERY easily on nearly all of the Uncharted games.
