My favorite is actually the one you posted. Great atmosphere, good puzzles, mystifying music.
DEH DOO EH DOO, DEH DOO DEHHHHHH
forest temple is just about the only dungeon that I really remember very well so that one
My top 3 are Stone Tower, Arbiter's grounds and Fire Temple in that order.
I remember it as the hard one. That room with the 3 stalfos always puts me on edge.
The edgy one with the mutilated corpses. Bitches impaled on spikes. Least favorite would have to be the kid friendly cuck dungeons.
Favorite is Deku Tree for pure nostalgia
Least favorite is the water temple from MM

>Most Favorite: Ganons Tower from ALttP
A perfect dungeon that brings together all the items and puzzles and traps and everything else you dealt with in a huge non linear gauntlet
>Least Favorite: Jabu Jabu from OoA
People who think the Water Temple in OoT is bad, have no idea how bad Water Temples can be
This. Forest temple is patrician-tier.
Spirit and Shadow temple come second.
master quest water temple
The first one of every game and the water ones are all bad
Favorite: Spirit Temple
Least Favorite: Jabu Jabu's Belly
Any level that takes place inside a giant fish is irredeemably shit. This is true not just of Zelda, but all other games
>Deku Tree
>bad
>What's your favorite Zelda dungeon?
TP's Ice Mansion
>Least favorite?
Divine beast Vah Rudania. All the other beasts have this epic feeling with you making an assault on them with the help of the corresponding Not-Champion, Rudania's is just an escort mission, and the dungeon itself loses the one gimmick that made it remotely interesting near instantly
Water Temple is the best dungeon in OOT
This one
Crown dungeon from Ages is by far my least favorite. Single worst music track in the series and the cane is never used outside of a few parts. The dungeon design is not terribly great either but it is probably the worst in the game.
Spirit Temple in Master Quest is the best by far. It's good in the original game, but Master Quest makes it a MASTERpiece.
Worst is Jabu-Jabu's Belly in Oracle of Ages.
Is OoA really that shitty?
>Dragon Roost Island Dungeon
>bad
Unless you count Forsaken Fortress. Then you right.
My favorite is Arbiter's Grounds from Twilight Princess. And I don't even like Twilight Princess all that much. But best dungeon. Second is the Ice Mansion, so great dungeons in that game.
Least favorite is Temple of the Ocean King. Just bad.
For 3D, Master Quest Spirit Temple is the pinnacle of 3D Zelda dungeon design. As far as standard dungeons go I think Forest Temple is my favorite though. My least favorite 3D dungeon is either MM Great Bay or TWW Forsaken Fortress 1.
For 2D, ALTTP Ganon's Tower would be the best if it forced you to do both wings of the basement, but you only have to do the western half. So for me LA's Turtle Rock is the best labyrinth shit I've seen. Original LoZ Level 9 is great too if a bit cryptic. For worst, Temple of the Ocean King is fucking shit and an inexcusable piece of game design.
Only Jabu Jabu. I always miss 1 key and have to look at a guide... I should have learned where it is by now, but I always forget.
OoA is more of a puzzle and story game than a pure dungeon and combat game like OoS was. I prefer Ages, but there's no doubt it has weaker dungeons. They're both fantastic though, especially when linked.
I like Okami's fish level
HEIL GANOn
Those Japs knew what they were doing here
it's a fucking Manji you uncultured swine
The rest of the game is great.

Spirit Temple.

Sandship. Boring dungeon with a less interesting time stone mechanic, Bokoblins, Fi stopping you to point out that the boss is attacking the ship, and the boss having a shit design + lazy as fuck fight.
Favorite: Arbiter's Grounds
Worst: Jabu-Jabu's Belly
No, Jabu Jabu is just bad. Lots of Zeldas have one or two stinkers.
>favorite dungeon
that botw dungeon that should have happened
>least favourite
that botw dungeon that didn't happen
People say it was supposed to be more puzzle-focused, but all the tedious, boring puzzles involving changing the colors of tiles.
Deku Tree for me too. Because usually that's as far as I make it before exclaiming "I don't got time for this shit" and turning it off.
EH REH
Favorite: Face Shrine from LA
Least favorite: Probably that time you pointlessly need to redo the first dungeon again in Skyward Sword.
Didn't the EH REH guy have a nervous breakdown and threaten to kill himself or something after he became a meme?
Are we meant to believe, before it was retconned, that Islam existed in Hyrule in some capacity? That means Mohammed existed, and that means child rape exists.
Which means..... hoo boy, I don't like where this is going.

fuck all of the child dungeons in OoT every every single on is a chore to get through.
Oh my GOD.
Thanks for the cringe, YouTube comments.
We were meant to believe Ganondorf is a Turk.

Maybe the water temple due the time wasted switching boots.l
notice how no one posted a botw temple
hahahhahaha
I don't remember the child ones being bad. I haven't played through OoT in ages, but I feel like they'd probably only feel shitty if you were super eager to move on to the "real deal" adult dungeons. More of a pain after the first playthrough than really being shit.

A tie between the arbiter's grounds and the forest temple.
>least favorite
The first dungeon in SS. Forget it's name, but it's boring as hell and you have to do it twice.
Deku Tree is comfy as fuck though, nigger
Hyrule Castle is pretty cool. That's it
>A tie between the arbiter's grounds and the forest temple
They were fairly linear and short but not really bad for what they were meant to be.
Unironically this. Only problem is the game interface which isn't the dungeons fault
I dont think its the best but it is definitely great. Too bad shitting on it became a plebbit meme.
So BOTW isn't the best but also isn't the worst? That's pretty ok then, good job pointing that out pal
No, i loved ages and seasons, jabu jabu's belly was literally an 8bit version of the water temple from ocarina of time
I wish you could play masterquest on 3ds without that stupid mirror bullshit. That doesn't make the game harder. Just tedious. Same with twilight princess HD hero mode
Best 3D is probably great bay temple while the best 2D one is the pyramid in OoS.
For the worst I gotta agree with the OoT kid dungeon posts. Can't really choose a worst 2D one has at the very worst they're just bland
Not with those obnoxious mid and last boss that you practically have to cheese with scum tactics.
Forest Temple=Spirit Temple>Shadow Temple>Fire Temple>>>>Water Temple
Water temple isn't hard it's just catastrophically tedious.
Top 3
Best: Forest Temple, Ancient Cistern, City in the Sky
Worst: Any from BoTW, Any from DS Games, Water Temple from OoT
It's really amazing how impressive the forrest temple was.
I have no clue why the other dungeons didn't have Stalfos mini-bosses like it did. Stalfos felt like a good enemy to just insert into a dungeon at your leisure.
>statues of women
>statues of worship at all
>islam
don't be retarded. c'mon.
I'd love 3D remakes of Seasons and Ages
Also huge shame Oracle of Secrets wasn't finished and released
I really didn't notice a significant puzzle/combat difference between the 2 games. Is it just a meme?
>Forest Temple
>Shadow Temple
>Spirit Temple
>Stone Tower. Fuck, really all of Ikana. Easily the best part of MM.
>Wind Temple
>Snowpeak Ruins
>Arbiter's Grounds
>Hyrule Castle
No. OOS is far more straightforward and OOA has far more puzzles in both the overworld and the dungeons.
Dark Link is comically easy on a three heart run since his health scales to yours.
Just don't Z-Target and swing. He'll go town in like two-three hits.
>meme
The games were marketed as that.
Just shield and attack without z-targeting. Literally breaks the fight
Besides the one water temple, Skyward Sword's dungeons were fucking lame as hell
You don't even need to shield. Just swing the second he gets close.
I think Dark Link is the only boss in a game I've played that gets harder by treating him like a actual boss.
How did link get the mastersword the way he did? Just ended up broken at the bottom of the ocean before the zora finds it
>all this love for the forest temple
Why are forest levels always the best level in every game?
I remember it was such an intense fight as a kid and when i played through OoT 3D is destroyed him without getting hit just because i didn't Z-target
>first time fighting Dark Link, like 15 years ago
>treat him like a normal enemy, lots of Z-targeting and shit
>get my ass handed to me repeatedly
>get mad like a dumb kid does and start just spamming sword attacks without any kind of aiming or targeting
>fucker goes down in half a minute
I like to think of that fight as the moment the hero learns that sometimes he has to fight dirty and outside the rules and with little regard for what he's learned until now because some enemies too smart but at the same time too dumb
Wasn't the puzzle element going to be colours?
The Forest Temple is just a very eerie, dark and yet interesting and captivating place, what with the general design and especially the music.
TP's forest temple was awful, though
I want a ALBW of the oracle games but with 3 games this time
>always the best level in every game
The forest temples in Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword are shit.
I feel weird for liking the Great Bay temple. It's dark, grimy and labyrinthine. Those are usually qualities people hate but it captured me.
Everything about child Link is a chore.
After you've unlocked adult Link, the worst parts of the game are every single instance of needing to go back to being a child to progress.
Has any other game even gotten close to the sense of empowerment you get by retrieving the Master Sword and becoming an adult?
Reminds me of the first ghiraham fight in SS. Makes you think differently about how you fight
OOT's forest temple was just wonderful
>Literally a mansion buried deep in the woods
>paintings, art gallery, ornate doorways, courtyards, even a well
>filled to the fucking brim with ghosts. Wallmasters, Poe sisters, two Stalfos mini-boss fights and Phantom Ganon
>eerie soundtrack
>iron knuckles criminally underused
OoT combat as a whole feels like a huge missed opportunity. If enemies hit harder and encounters were more varied, it could have had some of the best combat in the series.
It's not the best level in TP though
It's the best in OOT because it's dark, eerie, has good music, is far and away the most confusing thing in the game up to that point, and is filled with a real sense of danger and dread thanks to the ghosts, wallmasters, and Stalfos.
And Lizalfos
They only show up in Spirit Temple after Dodongo's Cavern, iirc.
Favourite is Stone Tower from Majora's Mask. Least favourite is Water Temple from Ocarina Of Time or that one you have to keep revisiting in Phantom Hourglass if that counts.
Shadow temple was pretty great. Shadow link, that ship segment, that challenging boss. Overall bizarrely depressing atmosphere considering the rest of the games tone that makes it stand out
Iron knuckles were my favorite non-boss enemy in the game once I found the first one
I also really enjoy the Gerudo Fortress (despite the shitty camera that fucks up your stealth) because fighting the guards in each cell feels like a real duel instead of just fighting some monster
oh god. Temple of the Ocean king was such a misstep in terms of level design.
>mandatory stealth section
>have to go through it several times in the game.
>at most new items offer an occasional shortcut.
OP's pic. Unapologetic nostalgiafag.
Probably the first thing that legit frightened me in vidya. Such a shift in tone after the child dungeons.
Dark link is in the water temple. Not shadow temple
Shadow Link was Water Temple.
but the miniboss was fuckin spot on
