It looks practical and comfy but also autistic as fuck. If you had one would it be the kind of thing you hide from your guests?
What's Sup Forums's opinion on this?
> guests
I've seen such setups in the past (pic related), and kinda replicated the feel on a comfy armchair and full-size KB.
>If you had one would it be the kind of thing you hide from your guests?
No. Why?
how you call that?
You don't game on a tv
It's cool for some chill laid back games like Civ, bad for FPS games.
That's too much comfort. And that isn't good for you. It makes you weak and soft, and you don't need to be any weaker and softer.
>playing on your living room
Why not?
A proper tv has gaming mode, which is basically the same as a monitor.
If you are single and not a NEET, why wouldn't you.
i use wireless mouse and keyboard just sitting on coach when i'm tired and want to play something easy/browse/read manga
Other than that, just get a regular PC setup
If the game is keyboard/mouse intensive enough it will never be the same as being in a desk. On the TV I just play games with that are best played with a controller and for browsing shit I have one of those wireless keyboards with a touchpad.
Besides those setups are kind of annoying for every time you want to get up/sit you have to remove shit from around you.
I did a living room setup for a while, and it works on some games very well, others not so much. Its a matter of pixel density, really. The best experience I had was with Elite
>what's your opinion on this plank of wood?
It's a plank of wood m8
if you care about your social status at the only place where it shouldnt play any role, just get a gamepad.
just put a fucking recliner in front of your PC desk
you dont always have to sit in it
you move it around when you want to sit in a normal chair
know a richfag who uses this setup and literally the biggest goddamn HDTV he could find because he didn't care about the price
It's pretty cool I guess
whats the name of these things?
input lag.
arms
input lag from what? that thing has a cord nigga
wat 2 do if u are stumps
i dunno why normies freak out about sitting in office chairs when they play games. Maybe its because I dont have a shitty desk job.
probbaly the best way to game. a bed setup is also nice
Keyboard doesn't seem to, also I see nothing connecting them to the TV and computer.
Not gonna lie, that looks mad comfy
>he thinks 10ms input lag is the same as ~1ms input lag
I carried an m16 and you... you play that that guitarrr.
There is a cord, you just can't see it in the picture.
>I am fast enough so that 10 ms matter
Proffesional athletes and pilots have reaction times of 192 ms
Stop shitposting your 10 ms memes and kill yourself
can i get the lie version
Pretty cool in my opinion. I'd love to do that if I had the money.
You are comparing apples to oranges.
Not him but Son... that's not how it works. Yes you can't defeat human reaction time limitations, but whatever the delay is on your monitor, is added on top of your personal reaction time. So yes, it matters.
Not him but
1) inputlag and poor response time on TV makes shit feel generally sluggish.
2. If two equal guys comes around a corner that means monitor guy headshots the guy @193 and TV guy clicks @203 but is already dead
>People that literally puts their lives in the line that has to react super quick on a daily basis so 10 ms barely matter
Pure bullshit memes
Literally git gud and stop pretending it is the hardware and not your shit skills
Ok you're ignoring facts and supplanting your opinion to be a fag. Have your (you) and go away.
Could be allright if it had twice the mouse space.
Show solid evidence of real competituions and how in practice 10 ms matter and are actually noticeable
Competitive gameplay is not about quicker reaction times, but positioning and putting your opponent at a disadvantage.
You're just CoD babbies.
How do you play m/kb games that require precision with your monitor/tv so far away from you? You'd have to squint like a motherfucker.
It's something I might consider in the future, but for now I just use kb/m at the desk and play controller games at the couch. 25 foot HDMI cable connecting to the TV and a program that swaps displays with a keybind.
>If you had one would it be the kind of thing you hide from your guests?
why would you? if you use pc in living room then its just a convenient way to place your mose/keyboard
Like it or not, he was a good father.
You need quick reaction times in fighting games.
well shit, thats pretty clever
No but I wouldnt be running my pc through a tv to game on either, thats what consoles are for
TV setup is fine for games, but horrible for anything else. Reading text is really tiresome.
A console is just a cheap underpowered PC anyways. There's not really a difference
underrated Niedermeyer-post
I have contemplated buying it, but I really don't know if it's worth the 200€ they are asking for it.
looks like a hospital bed
she's gonna make it, right user?
Seems uncomfortable, Why would I sit in some chair if I can just lay in my bed, like I'm doing right now
If you wanna play non-casual games I guess
Enjoy your bedsores from not moving
My fiance's normie brother has a mouse and keyboard in the living room because they use it to browse android box shit.
As long as you don't have some lame ass rainbow backlit bullshit I think its fine.
we are all gonna make it brah
Doing it everyday, yes
If you just switch between bed-desk-standing up (and you should if you area neet) then should have no issues
