Not really. It feels like a watered down version of the first but with more vibrant colors and an even weaker climax. W101 on the other hand is a fresh experience, once you get the groove of the shapes and how combat flows it’s unlike any other action game, and the plot which normally doesn’t matter in these types of games is well though out and details the struggles, temptation, and consequences of revenge.
Witcher 3 and its DLC were unironically, by far, the best experiences this gen.

Experiences aren’t games so nice you can get the same value out of just watching the cutscenes on youtube. TW3 doesn’t hold a candle to the ludo that is BB.
