The X has a 1080p mode where most games will get 60 FPS, although I doubt they're maxed out settings and some games on pro have a "boost" mode although it isn't as significant as the xbone to the X

There is literally no reason to buy an Xbox One X. If you own an Xbox One, you can already play all the games the Xbox One X will. If you own a PC you can already play all the games the Xbox One will. If you own a PS4 you can play almost all of games the Xbox One will and certainly all the one Xbots actually buy. And if you own a Switch you get games actually worth playing unlike the trash Sony and MS have been getting.

On black friday, sometimes gamestop, best buy or wal-mart has XBL for $30 and if you stock up on cards since time stacks on Xbox, you have ample time to wait for more promotions.

When was the last time you shopped on XBL or PSN? They have seasonal sales, publisher sales, monthly sales and even flash sales all the damn time. You sound like someone who doesn't pay much attention. Right now, the only stingy pricks with sales are Nintendo and Activision.
