Pretty good. It has Souls style summoning, a conventional mode where you revive each other and PvP is arena based and lets you choose between using all your stuff or preset equipment and items.

Yeah. I think it's on episode 5 now. Episode 4 ended with them in the temple.

I went to that "can your pc run this game" site and it told me my potato didn't have the min specs for MGR Revengeance but it had recommended specs for DaS, color me surprised when the former runs perfectly at max settings and the latter is the chuggiest piece of shit I've ever run in my life.

I was always wondering why I was so good at pvp in dark souls and why people seemingly had trouble actually hitting me or seeing my hits coming - it was because they had a hard time controlling their camera and attacking at the same time when using a gamepad, while it's much better on a mouse

I even play Ys with a mouse, though I don't use the mouse movement, just like to click for attacks

think about it, the mouse alone is 5+ inputs plus the directional movement in just one hand - you can only control either stick or press buttons on a gamepad
likewise keyboard allows you to reach ~20 inputs comfortably and as much as 5 at the same time

He's right honestly it was a truly mediocre title, pve got old, pvp when it came out was mediocre and completely broken. The story was incomprehensible garbage, the gear was a boring diablo loot table. And the coop was unrewarding.

Some bosses were cool but when your game is a complete mediocrity it's hard to care.

But you have access to the bumpers/triggers (Potentially even dual stage triggers that allow for more versatility of inputs) and depending on the controller up to two sets of grip buttons.
Also Gyroscope on some controllers.
That's a fair amount of inputs you have available on a controller.
The mouse is pretty practical but it also needs to be properly implemented to be any good.

And for movement on the keyboard you generally need to dedicate 3 fingers to WASD so that 20 kind of dwindles to a significantly smaller handful in most situations if you don't want to give up a direction of movement.

Fair enough, but numbers are still larger for kb+m with all those things taken into account.

The mouse is still faster and more precise. When I see people play DS with controller they start moving the camera in one direction and then stop, just to move it in the opposite direction again for a bit and then possibly move it in the initial direction yet again, because they have a hard time to control it with a stick. You never see that for people playing with a mouse, they move the cam to a certain point and it usually stops right where they need it.
