Hazing for gangs.
dont you want to prove yourself by beating the biggest guy on the street?
If you walked by and heard your every step go like "nyan nyan"
I would try to beat you up too
You got to have something to do in between all the dialogue and cutscenes
Basically anyone on the streets would try and beat him.
They give a good explanation for it in kurohyo
You mean like the dozens of mini-games and sub missions?
You're walking down the street when you see a guy in white stab someone, smash another guy's head on a guard rail, flick a cigarette at someone else before punching them 40 feet in the air and then smashing a bike over their head.
What do you do?
proceed to shakedown him
Because he is always walking around like he owns this shit
Just has one of them faces innit
Tell him his face pisses me off
The real question is, why does he keep winning?
Berate him for reeking of alcohol even though he probably only had 3 drinks.
STUPID
Just played Yakuza 0 and loved it.
Am I missing out on anything by not completing the real estate and cabaret side stuff?
Each character has a 4th style locked behind completing those
Ask him to find my lost dog
Wew, that's a big baitpost but it still got me.
what are you on about?
this is the equivalent of eating chicken but leaving loads of chunks still intact
you're doing this on purpose, aren't you user
ask him when he plans to go to the underground battle tournament so i can bet on him
such is life in tokyo
ask him to help me with spy on my cheating boyfriend.
he's got everything
Translation when? I want to play samurai yakuza so bad but I cant read moonrunes
end of year
but only story dialogue tho
meant for
Ask him to teach me how be a dominatrix.
They try to beat him by making him look like a noon though.
H E Y
Y O U
Ask if he will help me buy a magazine.
Give him a Staminan, he must be thirsty after all that.
WHOA WHOA WHOA
You're walking down the street when you see a lady in white stab someone, smash another guy's head on a guard rail, flick a cigarette at someone else before punching them 40 feet in the air and then smashing a bike over their head.
What do you do?
Sell some mushrooms.
You know that he could beat up every single noob in the game right?
More fun than KIRYU CHAN!
How long before this thread dissolves into Anri posting like all the rest?
HEY
YOU!
OI TEME!!!
Start a cult
Wait... You can change the weapon on the juggler moveset?
my point exactly
Just equip the weapon and press down on d-pad. . . .
Wait do you even know how to use weapons?
Because TEN YEARS IN THE JOINT MADE HIM A FUCKING PUSSY
What did you think the weapon training was for?
because hes a cuck.
thats one of the slugger main points, you can do special weapon moves if you use it
gotta hit up the chinese guy and learn it from him though
Do my job and hand him free tissues. I make a whopping $0.50 an hour doing so.
>that feel when we wont see Fist of the Kiryu-chan and Kiwami 2 localized for a long time
I want kiryu to beat me up and possibly kill me
Why Majima everywhere sucks so hard? I played probably over 20 hours after finishing story in 0, can't do it in Kiwami because fighting Majima every 10 steps I make pisses me off
I heard there was a side quest that explained that other thugs send fresh meat to go try and beat up Kiyru, claiming that he's super weak, as a hazing ritual
Just wait, user. Our guy Gio can and will make it happen.
Tell him that he is too old to be wandering the streets at this time of night.
>the one thing Majima learned from Sagawa was that smug fucking smile
Because for an ex-Yakuza, both him and Majima have punchable faces. Saejima on the other hand, I ain't fucking with that dude
HEY ASSHOLE
HEY ASSHOLE
HEY ASSHOLE
HEY ASSHOLE
I beat the game without realizing i could change weapons in juggler mode and i did all the training from the cook
...
>I beat the game without realizing i could change weapons in juggler mode and i did all the training from the cook
seriously?
>Saejima on the other hand, I ain't fucking with that dude
I agree. Out of all of the protags in the series, Saejima seems the scariest one to fight.
You can just run from him, bro.
If it's any consolation, there isn't much point of switching weapons.
Only time weapons are useful is with Kiryu in Brawl style so you can delete HP.
OJII-SAAAN
what the hell does that even mean? they publish some fucking wall of text and no game?
...
>Am I missing out on anything by not completing the real estate and cabaret side stuff?

>implying Majima hasn't gone full Nishitani and gets off every time he gets his ass kicked
You're missing out on the real estate and cabaret side stuff
the patch that is

I want more Kuze.
Sad that Awano died.
KIRYUU-CHAAAAAN!
>becomes a bro in the end
>gets merced 10 seconds later
HANASE
Kuze was so cool in the game. I hate how other people just dislike him because he turned into the generic repeating boss. Shibusawa was fucking lame. Kuze should've been the last fight. Also, Awano had the best fashion sense.
form a human wall boundary with someone nearby while cheering on
He's a nice guy, but he dresses like an asshole. Then again, so does everyone else. I guess that's why everyone is so hostile in this game.

>Am I missing out on anything by not completing the real estate and cabaret side stuff?
Just a lackluster 4th style for both character, it's more fanservice than it is viable.
Dragon Style is pretty viable, but being Drunk on Thug Style is just too fucking strong in any 1v1 Encounter.
You can literally stunlock anyone solo just by mashing square while using thug. Never hit triangle. Majima's arm bash just never stops.
I thought the true value of the 4th styles is that you can boost your stats even higher.
I continue to hide in my giant sized traffic cone that I designed, hoping to get the drop on him.
I thought it was hot garbage, never used it outside of the shibusawa fight just tu be autistic with the whole style switching thing.
You don't have to do all 4 of them, right? Only 3 to unlock all the gears so that you can fully upgrade all the styles, to unlock the gears on the 4th style you need to spend cp
I beat the game with zero health upgrade. You don't need it.
>Shibusawa was fucking lame
I thought he was pretty cool. Having him quietly pull all the strings from behind the scenes for the majority of the game made him seem so much more competent than the other lieutenants. Not to mention that the fight against him was hype af with his style switching and also with the OST and build up to the fight itself.
> not being a nekobito
TL note: nekobito means “cat person”
DoD style is mostly like his Thug Style except T attacks tend to break guard and you can follow up them with a circle.
And you can also pick up opponents on ground or do the arm flip counter.
But Style Switching with that fast shirt is just plain more useful in general. Same goes for Majima.
Mad Dog is more viable than Dragon, tbqh.
It's utterly broken against mobs and mini-bosses once you learn the timing on the attacks.
Hm...?
CHOTTO OMAE
I'm just saying. I know it's completely possible just to use the first three styles hell you don't even have to unlock the rest of the moves in said style to beat the game. Just use what you have.
Who said anything about needing?
I never really learnt how to use Mad Dog style. How am I supposed to use it? It feels it just drinks up Heat Gauge alot.
Though atleast most of its attacks are unblockable so most bosses cannot fight against basic S combo.
the OP of the convo, namefag.
>Am I missing out on anything by not completing the real estate and cabaret side stuff?
Are wa...
Whenever you do the running slash, let go of the analog stick and let the full sliding animation play out. This prevents Majima from sprinting in the other direction, away from the enemy. By staying close to the enemy in this way, you can just spam the running slash over and over until you build up enough heat for a heat action. Combine this with taunting when your enemy is on the ground, and you're good.
