Final Fantasy 12 news in a week

well this is unexpected

Best guess would be Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age finally coming to PC. However, its weird how the quote from square enix is "there may be news that will make Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age fans happy.” Makes it sound like they may be adding new content to the actual PS4 version.

Tactics Advance 3 for the Switch, please.

Although that would be the best possible announcement Square Enix could ever make, I really much doubt that will ever be a thing.

It is either a another port or another Ivalice game.
Hopefully another Ivalice game.

if it is DLC for FF12, what would you expect?

more levels to the time trial.
Removal of Vaan.
The addition of the original story before Vaan was shoved into the game and ruined Penelo.

Lootboxes
If you get one of several specific common drop lootboxes, you secretly get locked out of a rare, super powerful one

I'd be amazed if we got a DLC similar to the ones FFXV is getting considering:

>not all voice actors can return I assume
>you would need to make new assets that don't clash with the art direction
>this is a baseless assumption, but i feel like adding new features to an older game would be more difficult than adding new features to a new game

I could only see new time trial levels. Maybe new hunts. I would absolutely love a Balthier solo chapter though. They actually have his voice actor ready to record new lines (Ignis and Balthier share the same VA).

Final Fantasy XII Director's Cut, using the plot Matsuno original had in mind with no Vaan and Penelo.

Maybe they will patch in the option to play the original version of the game rather than the zodiac job version.

Why not?
>Matsuno
ohhh....

why would anyone want to do that, are you retarded.

Because the games difficulty was balanced for the original version and the job system makes it way too easy. It's a pretty common complaint about this version. Although adding a hard mode might be a better solution

Don't get your hopes up for the DLC or anything like that. It's the pc port. Nobody (but niche pc crpg/rts studios) does release DLC for 11 years old game.
Remember last time square teased happy news? It was FFXV port.
Also the game could be ported not only on pc but also on switch, because it's not graphically demanding and square wants to support it.
Actually new Matsuno game IS possible. He returned as freelancer artist to write story for XIV's Return to Ivalice raid.
And many ex-employees of Square Enix like Sakaguchi now think about returning to Square. It's because of new president. Old one was fucking retard and almost killed the company. Wada, was it? Back then Sakaguchi was very unpleasant to talk about returning there, now he's smiling and telling that everything is possible.

I'd buy it on Switch.

>niconico and youtube
Switch port maybe.

Maybe they are remaking Revenant Wings? No? ok I'll see myself out

This.
I was hoping for a Vita port, but it never happened.

Nobody is more excited by this than me, but we have to keep in mind that Square Enix has been in the shitter for nearly a decade.

Final Fantasy XII-2: Online

it's being ported to PC or maybe Switch please be a new Ivalice game, or finish that Fortress game

You forgot the most important thing.
Add fucking gameplay to the game.
I thought DQVIII was boring, but this one is on another level.

Square Enix like to release PC ports right before the holidays, so it probably is a PC release of XII, which is a good thing.

I get that reference. Fucking Zodiac Spear, man.

Me too actually. Would love to play this on portable while commuting.

Is it finally time?!

FF XII-2 confirmed!

I would buy a fuckin switch for that in a heartbeat.

Also infinite space 2.

>game about air pirates
>you can't fly the airship yourself
It was always a bad design decision and they might finally fix it. Even Type-0 had a flyable airship even if was just a crappy minigame so I really don't see why they never bothered with XII.

Lightning DLC

Didn't they say that they'd do more Ivalice games if Zodiac was successful? They recently announced that it sold 1 million copies, so that's a possibility.

Yeah, a sequel to vagrant story.
Mobile only.
