Tfw awful at video games

>tfw awful at video games

What about you guys? What genres are you good and bad at?

Atleast I can shoryuken and have beaten games like Castlevania 4 and Ninja Gaiden Black.

I'm slightly better than average. Only slightly though.

I'm always middle of the leaderboard. Never on top, never on bottom. I'm decent and capable, but never good. It's really my fault, I never really have the drive or patience to get REALLY REALLY good at something. Even if I did, whatever. There's always someone that's going to be better what I'm good at.

Feels mediocre.

Basically the only games I'm good at are Burnout and DDR because I lack whitrboi rhythm.

I do miss being a kid though; my utter ineptitude towards challenge in vidya made the experience more memorable and last longer.

pretty good in games like tekken, cs or fire emblem
games like total war make me think i`m a retard

Nigga I'm 1337 as fuck.
If I suck at a game, I just practice and git gud.

>leaderboards
This ain't 1995 anymore, gramps.

I reached master tier in league of legos. Thats about it

I couldn't beat Yukiko's dungeon in Persona 4. The knight mid-boss fucks me up every time. I'm too stupid to understand Persona's gameplay and leveling systems.

>playing WWE 2007 career as a lil babbyboi
>get the part where Randy Orton ambushes you and you start a match weakened
>don't wanna lose so I plug in the second controller and pin the guy in three seconds
Think about this a lot.

i'm good at all video games except contra and cuphead

I'm shit, like really unbelievably shit
you remeber all that fuss about that chink unable to do the tutorial in cuphead? I had the same issues, it was only through everyone mocking them by making vids showing how "easy"t hat was that I was able to complete the tutorial, copying their moves

I fucking sucked at cooking mama when I play it on my cousin's DS a decade ago but I'm pretty decent cook irl. Thanks, ethnic neighbourhood.

Yeah.
I realised that i'm actually awful at video games when I failed to 1cc EosD on normal

I'm average at most things. I can't play Rhythm games outside of stuff like Rhythm Heaven or Ouendan, though.

Oh. What do you call the thing that shows up after a match that shows how well people did? Ranking board?

Visual novels.

No, seriously I am REALLY good at reading.

Other than that just average, can finish games on normal setting.

Beaderloard

I used to be good at IIDX (8dan)
now I can barely pass 10s -_-

i am shit at all video games

with that said i was able to do 2 no leveling, no summoning, and no pyromancy runs on dark souls 1

so take from that what you will

>-_-
Get outta here, geekboy

How do you get out of bed in the morning?

By stumbling, I'd imagine.

I can't even get past the first mission in The Witcher where you fight that Griffin. Seriously fuck that nigger.

getting out of bed doesn't require being good at video games I guess

That's actually kinda incredible

I'm literally DSP tier.
I got stuck at exactly the same parts as him when I played various video games.

Bump for interest

Wow that's pretty stupid. Good job.

The one genre is fighting games, everything else above average.

also, if you don't start the game one difficulty level above normal, you're not even a gamer.

wooooooooow

I wish there was a spoiler-free walkthrough of the first few dungeons for Persona, that tells you how to level or how to think about leveling, fusing Personae etc.

Everybody knows about Idachi being the killer by now

I suck, honestly. Yesterday I spent a solid six hours fighting a low-level boss in Bloodborne (Undead Giant), and the other major ones took me dozens of attempts too. The only genre I'm good at is adventure-puzzlers, I suppose.

Usually I play at one difficulty higher than normal, if this isn't the maximum.
Sometimes I'll do research on what it changes.
>get into MGS last year
>play 1-4 and currently working on PW
>decide if I really love the series I should try getting Big Boss in one of the games
>decide to do MGS1 because it has the fewest criteria
>autistically play it
>have done Extreme before
>is my preferred difficulty for the game now
>Big Boss run is my fourth playthrough
>have tuxedo on this save
>kick it into motion
>doing okay first half
>nerve wracking second half trying to minimize time taken
>feel like I'm actually Solid Snake due to the pure tension
>covered in sweat on Liquid fist fight
>doing the escape
>get it on the second try
>furiously mashing through codec calls and skipping FMVs
>credits included in the time and you can't skip them
>heart beating
>end results
>Time: 2h59m29s
>FUCK YEAR
>26 kills
>Rank: Scorpion
>mfw
I don't think I would've been satisfied anyway, it lists you as using the stealth camo and bandana even if you never equip them, so I would've done a new one anyway.

Totally average at single player games, abysmal at multiplayer games.
I used to throw temper tantrums as a kid, so I can never take multiplayer seriously anymore.

I used to have trouble with some games as a kid but all the games I play now are piss easy to me.

I'm good at certain RPGs but I suck shit at fighting games.

I'm absolutely awful at video games, but I think that's a good thing in a lot of cases. For example my favourite game is a TRPG and I've played it something like 20-30 times, whereas a good player might have mastered it after a couple playthroughs.
The downside is that some games and genres are almost unplayable - I can't play SHMUPs aside from relying entirely on trial on error, but I imagine they're super fun for people who can react on the fly to dodge bullets and stuff.

I don't care about macro-spoilers, only micro-spoilers bother me.

I'm shit at fighting games and MOBAs. 98% of the stuff I play is single player because I get nervous and I'm scared of dragging down the team. I'd rather just play a comfy RPG on my own, but it's pretty isolating.

I wish I had a friend to be awkward and shit at games with.

im good at every type of game...i play 15-16 hours most days

send help

I'm good at fighting games.
I'm decent at STG and most other genres.
I'm shit at RTS.

I'm pretty good at platformers, RPGs and survival horror games. I can be good at certain fighting games, but bad in others. But I really suck at RTS and simulator games.

I'm probably better than I think because I see people being worthless all the time. It's just that I compare myself to those crazy fucks you always find on youtube and I feel mediocre.

I am pisspoor at fps. Slow as fuck reflexes. Pretty average/above average at anything else

Age?

tl; dr lol

lmfao
