Blazing Blade. Liked it when I first played it and liked it even now. A lot of love may be be due to nostalgia of being my first one, and others most definitely have better gameplay/story but I'll always love it.

I only played the 3DS games and Warriors.

I like FE5. It has some issues but the map design is excellent.

Radiant Dawn for sure. It has plenty of balance issues but I like the difficult compared to Path of Radiance.

New Mystery is my favorite, with Conquest right behind.

Warriors, what's the best way to grind for supports? Pair up and killing units that drop items doesn't give you much.

Most people restart whenever anyone dies. Ironman (continue no matter what) is also a popular method of play, but I wouldn't do that as a new player.

Restarting or continuing are both valid ways to play. Even if some people insist on one or the other. Do what you'd rather do.

Why? Shadows of Valentia had the best presentation out of all games and was still very faithful to the original. The fact that we're moving away from the 3DS with a new Switch game next year only makes things even better.

New Mystery. The bast conversations telling you everything you needed to know game story wise and gameplay wise was expanded greatly from PoR, weapon ranking bonuses, dragon changes, and the best maps. Main cons are some story changes, no dismounting and same turn reinforcements on hard and above.
As long as stuff like Holy Weapon onuses and skills like Pursuit are the same, it will be fine.

FE9 is probably my favorite FE gsme but goddamn Ike's Ranger sword stance is one of the dumbest fucking things I've ever seen in a video game.

Favorite Emblem is Lynblem. Though I like all the Emblems for the expection of the shitty Wii U crossover that was nothing like it was first advertised.

Best place to start would be the one on the GBA just named Fire Emblem. It has a 10 chapter tutorial that won't be fun to go through if you played others.

It's pretty dumb, though most sword stances in FE are focused on being flashy or impractical. Ed Edd n Eddy is the only one I can think of that has a practical sword stance, and only as a Myrmidon.

Maybe 9 honestly. Kinda want to go back to a FE game because it's been a while.
