i think blizz missed the bus by years with this one. two or three years ago and the hype would be astronomical. they obviously chose to ignore it, fearing that it'd detract from hype from exp packs but classic is nothing like modern retail. they are very different experiences. i don't think it will be as good as people expect it to. especially not with cross realm bg's and all the shit that polluted wow after honor rank and dishonor kills.
it's like they made some kind of decision to pander to the loudest bitching on their forums or something, but no one will ever know the truth.
