They aren't labeled as manuals, they're just key items. There's one at the start of Uraya, one in the old factory, and another behind a locked door in Tantal. There's still more beyond that, but I haven't found any info on them at all.

I just remembered the Direct where they said that Rex had 12 arts because of Mithra. Did they straight up lie or do they get different weapons later on?
Also, who do I swap for Zeke? Everyone is too good at their job already. New party members just make me suffer and scratch my head

the problems is that you get Zeke at the middle of the game, when Rex is a lot better, and you have to farm the Zeke Gladius.

Why the fuck are there extra tank and attacker party members but not healer? I'm still in the middle of the game but I haven't heard anything about an extra healer party member, kinda sucks desu.

Do enemies get tanky enough that you can put on multiple orbs later? I'm around chapter 4 and by the time I do a blade combo they are basically almost dead and then when i chain attack its just overkill.

What's the highest level enemy monster?

It will go left to right unless you use an element which one of the orbs is weak to then it will target that

I'd say it's harder to make a "non-tank" party member a tank without HP upgrades in their tree; but there are multiple rare healing blades, Ursula for example, that heal based on outgoing damage.

It's not easy to make one of them a healer, whenever they switch the attacker/tank blade the party will just be in deep shit. It MIGHT work out if I gave a healer blade to the character I am controlling but thats not really what I wanted to do. You can use Morag and Zeke as their intended roles well so it kinda sucks that you don't have an extra healer party member.

It's a good game but I really am not completely on board with the ultra goofy anime jokes that come out of no where and never talked about again. Might be fine in any other JRPG but XC1 and X did a really good job holding back those tropes. Plus randomizing/gatcha for weapons is just bad design.

Plus I don't really like most of the design but that's a whole other issue.

Talking about what they are trying to do humor. Shounen tropes is fine since it's your typical heroes journey. It had some jokes but over all it played itself fairly serious unlike XC2.

I can literally count maybe 2 times they made a pervert/baka moment in the game and i'm 50 hours in. For the most part the XC2 takes it self pretty seriously. Stop deluding your self. You can hate the game all you wan't but I want legitimate complaints.

Then clearly state your problem with the type of perverted jokes instead of complaining about something all games have, which is goofy anime jokes and anime tropes.
That said I do agree that the game has quite a few of those, but Takahashi wanted it to be a more light hearted story overall due to his views on modern society. That said, it does get fairly darker overall and you'll see fewer of those tropes later on. It's still a romance story so you can expect a few moments like those between the main characters though.

The first game started as a revenge tale, which is atypical of modern shonen stories. It devolves into a world saving "stop the big bad" after over halfway through, but it has an interesting start. X is just completely different. I like the second one, but it is more by the numbers shonen than 1.
