I be curious how much support the game is going to get in the form of DLC and updates, if it starts to get dropped or nothing good happens then I probably wont get it on PC Ill just get the next game. Also that if the community dies due to disinterest I would like to hav actually played it when it was active, see MGS Online 3, fun but not very active at all after a while.

I wonder if G-rank DLC will be out by the PC release, and if it will include it or not.

I doubt G rank will be included unless they push back the PC a full year. G rank expansions are usually released a little more than a year after the original game and I don't expect that to differ here.

I imagine that the G rank expansion will include a new story to go along with it like previous games, except it will be more in depth to stay in line with World's main story. They might even make a new area or two and will likely have many new monsters, or at least old favorites.

I've been waiting since 2010 when I played Tri for a new Monster Hunter to come out on Playstation and it's finally happening.
I was really worried after the first trailers but had a blast with the beta. It's gonna be great.

The moveset changes alone makes it much better, even if the motion values didn't change. Quick reload reloads all bullets, you can fullburst infinite combo, the new wide sweep move has absurd damage, etc.

Same here, user. I played through Tri solo and it was one of my favorite experiences in gaming. Never got into the handhelds but played some multiplayer during World beta and it was a blast.

Dude the fucking GS is crazy in this game. I'll also be happy to play another game not made by B-team who is about as bad as FromSoft's B-team with shitty ideas like Hyper and incessant tracking in MHXX. Be good to have 4U team back.

And besides that, you don't need thousands of players to sustain the online of a 4 player co-op game. You can still find rooms in 3U for fuck's sake. And other games that got PC ports ages ago like EDF still always have some active lobbies. The real answer is to just get it on the system your friends will be playing on.

It's a last gen monster hunter game though, the Switch officially kicked off the 9th generation of consoles.
