Recently emulated Wario Land 1/2/3/VB in that order. Good stuff, I'll get to 4 soon. Also replayed Dragonball Advanced Adventure and tried out some NGPC and WSC color games for the novelty; the Wonderswan Megaman game sucks but Gals Fighters is fun.

I have the same issue with fucking Super Mario World of all games
playing the gba port or the virtual console release feels okay, but as soon as I try to play some romhack on an emulator everything goes wrong and I have to predict like a whole second into the future for every input

Um Jammer Lammy and Parappa the Rapper both have weird timing inputs even on real consoles,your best bet is to play them with Mednafen and activate GPU hard sync to reduce input lag.

You just need to put all the rom packs in whatever folder Mame searches for them,same with the bios files.

I really prefer when she uses less showy make up and does her hair to be wavy.

D is really not worth playing. Aside from being outdated as fuck in every regard, it's gotta be one of the most obtuse adventure games of all time. I think even Myst fans would be insulted. It wouldn't be so unbearable if it weren't for the overarching time limit. I don't know anything about the sequel.

Tried Mega Man X but the touchscreen controls are fucking awful for anything that needs responsiveness. Right now I just have the PSP version of Final Fantasy IV downloaded.

If you mean emulation issues that's pretty normal for Mame since most semi-modern arcade games will have glitches and bugs but you should be able to run them at least.

I know Parappa had weird timing where you had to wait a little bit after going past the prompt to hit it, but Lammy shouldn't have that issue. I'm going to assume you're playing on something other than a CRT monitor which would cause some input delay. I played it both on my PSP and computer monitor and had no issues with timing on my PSP but had difficulties playing on my computer.

Playing on my Thinkpad and the timing seems drastically inconsistent at times, especially on Stage 5. Might have to try another method.

Holy umbrella on super nintendo.

It kind of sucks for the first 2 levels because you have to find an item if you want to run. Plus I would be lying if I said it was at all challenging, especially if you bother to stock up on healing items.

Still ended up being completely charmed by the game as it nails both the childrens anime style setting and the "snes adventure game" feeling perfectly, if you are willing to accept that such a thing exists.

I like the challenge of the DS version's hard difficulty, makes boss fights pretty intense and a lot more memorable

my biggest gripe with it is that it looks much less appealing than the other versions, it's slower and the voice acted scenes feel unnecessary and just make the story feel more cheesy.
