JRPG

>JRPG
>final boss is God
>MC uses power of friendship to beat him

>Sup Forums
>OP makes a thread complaining about cliches
>never actually names a game that does the thing he's complaining about

And it was great.

>RPG Archer class

Is that Ron Purrlman?

Excellent post, user. Have a great day.

>the chad pussy

>play DnD once
>decide to be a ranger
>all of the best combat skills are non-bow related

Gonna need a quick rundown on this cat

...

>JRPG
>God is a good guy who loves the Earth
>By coming to see him you restored his faith in humanity

Persona 3 and 4 come to mind lol

Hmm

>fighting the game devs to give the characters an upbeat ending

Kino

Dagda was right

Xenoblade 2

>JRPG
>at some point humans tried to summon a God to guide them but the ritual was incomplete and God was split into two different beings
>one of them saw all the beauty of the world
>another saw all the ugliness
>you can side with either in final battle

I'll name 2

Final fantasy tactics: Mime
Legends of Grimrock 2: Farmer.

You promised, Pete.

So are these cats just special needs or what

...

>JRPG
>final encounter is another party of four composed of all of your party member's rivals
>you both brutally kill eachother with the power of friendship until everybody's canonically dead except for the main character and his rival

Wow I entered the thread to make the exact same joke. Good stuff lad.

PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETE

>JRPG
>final boss is God
>a guy on a wheelchair is stronger than God

It's like the most common trope in Japanese media. Community and cooperation beats the selfish individual who only looks out for himself. Look at any Japanese game, show or even thing and you will find this to be the plot about 90% of the time.

Games aren't for mudslime like you it seems.

Kill me, Pete.

>a guy on a wheelchair gets out of his wheelchair

I love this dumb cliche and there's nothing you can do to stop me

>MC is brown haired generic kid
>always wins somehow, even as just some kid
>"Come on guys! Power of friendship!"
>Almost always ends up with female party member
>Canon name is something a kid would make up
