I got my money's worth out of it. The single player is really grindy if you care about 100% completion (and all it really yields are weapon reskins) but overall I've had a positive experience with this game

I've gotta disagree because it's modes like that that some people actually only load the game up for, in other games. Lots of people buy Call of Duty just for the zombie mode, for example.
It's so drastically different, it's the only PvE mode in the game and the only mode that you can team up with just a specific amount of friends consistently.

If you're looking at the single player campain only, it's most probably a no. A single playtrought will net you 4-8 hours of gameplay and You could play each stage once more for each weapon and could fix yourself a challenge for best time on each stage, but that's stretching it.
If you're interested in playing online, it's between a yes and a maybe.
Both is a solid yes.
