Man, I still couldn't do that shit in Driver San Francisco.
Only reason I beat it as a kid is because I got my dad to do it for me.
>the fucking slalom
Driver was my first 3D driving game that wasn't an arcade racer and I had a real time not fucking that up for some reason.
I was a kid whose english comprehension only widened to 360 and reverse 360, it took me like an hour to beat this regardless.
Man, Driver.
Is it still a great game after all those years?
Never see it discussed on here.

Escorting Miller through this fucking amoeba section in Metro 2033.
A game that puts a casual filter RIGHT IN THE BEGINNING, what do you think?
this is the real definition of casual filter. even the tutorial is hard as fuck
underrated post and game
The real mother fucker of San Andreas. "Follow the train" is also not difficult and that's a normie meme.
>"Follow the train" is also not difficult
This, its just mildly annoying
Never even failed it
Anyone remember Stuntman on the PS2?
This game was the shit. Some scenes were quite hard, but nowhere near PTSD.
The snow levels in that game were extremely annoying
>last fight before you get cure
>boss splits into two parts, both shoot projectiles
>one part turns invisible
>die in two shots on proud mode
>have to hide very carefully to use an item
It's at the perfect point in the game, too.
I had no problem with this missions. I found that the best way to pilot is to turn off mouse flying and use both WASD and the directions.
I've been playing for 4 days straight now and I still can't beat Owl
That's because the PC and later versions of this mission were made much easier. The original PS2 release counted down your fuel even if you were staying completely still and you only just had enough time to kill everyone and fly back and you had to be completely perfect and this mission was likely the first time you had to fly a plane.
Later releases like the PC release only made the fuel counter deplete when you accelerate which makes it much easier and you can finish the mission with over half of your fuel remaining.
I see.
You played GTA:SA on PS2?

Yeah that's the thing with these challenges, if it's a newer gen game or PC they'll usually patch and fix it. Mafia's race was patched on PC, but you'd need to go to the website and download it manually.
God of War Ascension's final trials was nerfed and they added checkpoints.

i could never read it on my shitty tv
This was actually one of the easier fights in the game IMHO
Much worse was THE FUCKING RIKU FIGHT
how to beat owl?
Hey man you wrecked the car man
you have to be a huge pussy to have had a problem with this slow moving amorphous blob
Now the weapon you get out of it on the other hand...
Where does one git gud faggots?
Riku was always easy to me. I think it just comes down to a difference in play style. If you try to stay in the air the entire fight, Riku II isn't challenging at all. Clayton though will fuck you up point-blank with lasers, so maybe staying on the ground is best. Dragon Maleficent was also a nightmare for me, while Ursula II was nothing. Maybe there's some pattern to it.
god
DAAAMN
HEY MAN
WATCH THE PAINT
i'm not a pussy, it's just too hard...
fuck my ears you bastard
...
fire weapons kill it in seconds wtf
Pussy, i played Driver when i like 8 and beat it easily
I was a retard and couldn't get past the train mission for ages as a kid. Remember cheating with the jetpack to get past it.
Supply Lines wasn't bad in my book, but THIS is a cunt of a mission.
are you trolling me?
FUCKING THIS
WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT PART OF THE GAME
Oddly, I only had problems with this on the console versions, I did fine in the PC one. Caesar's shitty lowrider kept flipping on me in Photo Opportunity, though
...
I'd argue that the rest of the game isn't too bad.
Except the last mission, fuck. I remember that the Limo was super susceptible to flipping over, and it was an insta-fail.
