How do you feel that this will a new era of Twitch coming? like no more shitposting about girl gamers, its going to be all about real gamers

Doesn't change the fact it's mostly used to launder money.

They're not getting rid of tittie streamers retard, it's against the rules now but it doesn't matter because they don't enforce them, they'll just reiterate that they're not allowed and continue to not enforce them

...

They're just going to make it bannable to even talk about female streamers

Time to make it vaguer so they can ban literally anyone without giving a real reason

ding ding

Thanks doc?

>actively policing for banter
Why is the internet so boring now?

I bet they're still going to ignore this because the mods are in on it

>How do you feel that this will a new era of Twitch coming?
that is just the way the cookie crumbles as lame as nerds say.
Shit is was always inevitable given as to how much it has grown. Since the audience and people aside the main reason they want to clean themselves up as much as possible is the same reason Esport game devs monitor their shit for people misbehaving or whatever. In that it is not really at all for the community but mostly to protect their products image so that they can then get better and more profitable sponsorship and ad revenue.

So really unless you are some dumb fucker you should have easily seen this coming due to the casual mainstream audience influx. That is just really simple basic as level capitalism and if you all have a problem with it then you are either a lame ass commie or more than likely in this particular case some sort of fascist as faggot all mad as hell that you are not a profitable target audience that is wanted and catered too.
So all things considered just ignore that shit or try to find/fund/support alternatives. Easy as that really and way more productive than just whining that a popular platform does not pander to your dumb unprofitable ass.

women started using it

let me guess. They're going full-on NO FUN ALLOWED and pussifying everything.

>one less place for the mentally ill millennials to spout cringy memes

good

I want to be a part of things which means i have to change them so they protect my feelings

Because any website that is actually interesting can’t attract enough advertisers to stay financially stable
The internet is cucked by corporations now just like real life

words are violence, bro. And violence must be preemptively destroyed

>Twitch is now a titty streamer only website
>Male streamers will be banned on sight
>Girls without tits, banned on sight
>Trannies and black people get a free pass though because we aren't bigots :^)

>Twitch is now a titty streamer only website
>Justin.tv is ressurected and is once again the top videogame streaming site

Someone post the pic with the few guys enjoying a hobby at first and then it goes to shit
Because that's how this is and that's only going to reinforce it

but is throwing the original, core audience under the bus a good business stratagem? The unruly excitement is part of what made twitch popular to begin with, would tossing that out really be best for their bottom line?

I ask because I've seen this cycle repeat too many times:
>something niche and novel attracts a bunch of nerds and early adopters
>these individuals generate excitement which attracts more mainstream audiences
>company smells money and completely ditches the early adopters in favor of the mainstream
>brief increase of success
>core audience leaves
>mainstream leaves because 1. something else is the new hotness and 2. the company's attempt to appeal to them ultimately amounted to sterilizing the product, meaning that it is no longer cool.
>product/brand suffers and/or dies

Reminder that video games as a hobby is for rich chads and women only, NEETS need to find something else to do with themselves now, maybe serve chads for bitcoin or something

liberals can't take their politics away from their hobbies

when did twitch become video game culture on Sup Forums?

>nothing using twitch 5 extension
>blocks all ads, chats, cancer shit
>blocks clicks too

probably with the popularization
it's still vidya culture

it got removed on chrome. i heard it was some russian botnet though, be careful

Imagine a timeline where Sup Forums never existed
We would be all jew slaves by now

>Thinking they are getting rid of their main source of income
Fucking lol cant make this shit up. All this is going to do is further a safespace agenda for every stream instead of letting streamers do what they want.

>i totally heard it was something
>it must be something
>totally
>

what did justin.tv even die for if this was the future we chose

thankfully there's a backup! crx.dam.io/ext/knankefoajngclnjgnelanfohgihifpc.html

>blocks chats
lmao

...

>not siphoning off resources like the leech you are

We're long past the point where money comes first in the SJW space

>going on twitch
>watching internet panhandlers

unironically enough his dick is actually bigger than yours lol

How do you know that?

Why can't Sup Forums learn to ignore attention whores like people on twitter

Do you have any examples? Im kinda curious.

Because they can't ignore the (You) whores here.

Is that image real?, the "look at my ass" comment makes it difficult to believe its real.

yes

Who cares? Twitch is already incredibly selective when it comes to enforcing their own rules.

Seriously what are you talking about.
>it's against the rules now

whats against the rules now? please give context to this post

Overly sexual content is against the TOS

This

Streamers aren't supposed to wear sexually explicit clothing. Deep cleavage, showing off asses, etc. were banned a few years ago because "gamers" were using the games as an excuse to camwhore.

Twitch has become increasingly lax on enforcing this to the point of tacitly condoning with the IRL section. I would invite you to go there now, several of the top streamers are likely wearing very little clothing.

I'd argue World of Warcraft followed that exact route. First real hints of it came with WotLK, then they doubled down on it and committed fully with Cata literally reshaping the world to be more linear and focused (hub of three quests then move on until endgame) and immediately reducing the difficulty of entry level heroic dungeons (which weren't that challenging to begin with, just required a small amount of coordination and overgearing would make them even easier) after the immense backlash of new players that had learned throughout Wrath that dungeons were just AoE pullfests with a purple at the end. It was a slippery slope after that of convenience features paired with a few pieces of nice content- MoP is arguably one of the best expansions if you exclude the year long content drought that was SoO and the mandatory expansion long legendary grind that became the norm.

Probably the most egregious example was the Warlords of Draenor release- picture fucking related. It lured in fans of BC and WC3 with sweet sweet lies and turned into nothing but a hollow garrison grind. It gained and lost more players in a single quarter than many MMO's see in their entire lifetime- it was so bad that Activision stopped reporting sub numbers entirely, and even with Legion doing reasonably well its estimated to only have about 2-3 million active subs, a shadow of what it once had.

>Going to twitch for a discount sex-free bj
Imagine being so starved for korean porn that you just accept anything

Hopefully they actually do something about the dumb whore section of Twitch, not that it matters. Anyone who watches Twitch streamers unironically is a sad fucking degenerate.

Source?

/ic/ please go

don't ever look up findom, it's basically an extreme version of this

It will just be more clarity on their current rules. Still doesnt change the fact they favor bigger streamers and destroy smaller streamers with overly stringent rules because ads must play on every channel.

Like Twitch cares, famous streamers can smoke drugs or stream half naked already.
All they can do is more wordfilters in the chats that give you 30 minutes "bans".
